Ironically, had Bush not gone into Iraq, there would probably have been an ‘Arab Spring’ in Iraq, which Obama would have supported, and the radicals would have likely wound up in charge anyway. In my view, after being attacked as a nation, we established a beachhead in the Middle East, occupying our enemies there. We just walked away from it and essentially handed it to the radicals.

Pulling our troops out prematurely, telegraphing the time and date of our withdrawal was stupid beyond all comprehension. Even a liberal (old fashioned kind) could see that. Even Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles could have seen this coming.
