Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker made another massive misstep on Monday, hiring Liz Mair of Mair Strategies to handle communications and social media for his campaign-in-waiting.
Mair’s support for amnesty for illegal aliens, wide-open-borders immigration policies, and public advocacy for the Senate “Gang of Eight” amnesty bill is sure to dog Walker in Iowa, South Carolina, and other early presidential states.
During the Senate Gang of Eight bill fight, Mair very publicly and very aggressively promoted the amnesty bill—pushing it to media and making the case for the need for it over and over again. She claims her advocacy was done out of the good of her heart, for free, because for religious reasons she believes in amnesty and open borders. But Mair wouldn’t answer who was paying her bills for her advocacy during the timeframe of the “Gang of Eight” bill in early 2013 through the end of the last Congress–when asked by Breitbart News if any specific tech companies or a select group of Wall Street billionaires were paying her.
“We’re contractually barred from disclosing our clients,” Mair said.
That could mean anyone—even foreign companies potentially—were paying her during the timeframe she was publicly advocating for the amnesty bill. While she didn’t have to disclose it to the public at the time now that she’s hitched to Walker the Wisconsin governor owns everything she said and did.

He’s bounced back and forth on this issue. And I don’t like that.
Has Ted Cruz made a SINGLE “misstep” of this kind? Not that I know of.
Best thing he had going for him is that he’s not Jeb Bush. But he might be just as bad

Walker is giving the appearance of someone who thinks that Open Borders is just a sideshow nuisance to be treated with indifference.
Some of us in California have already witnessed the damage that mass 3rd world immigration can do to a one-time American state.
Unless Walker intends to be a kinder, gentler version of Jeb Bush (R-Mexico) he better get serious. He already has the treason lobby stink hanging around him and this just makes it all the more obvious.
I can compromise on many issues. Amnesty is not one of them.

I agree. This bouncing around is making me not care. hat is the rosetta stone to a candidate. By knowing the border/amnesty position, you can just about know everything worth knowing about them.

Ted’s mistake is he’s a currently a broken record on problems. He’s not or the media is not reporting on his vision, and I see little on FR other than the cheerleader’s and fans.

Walker’s staff need to vet potential new hires better. AMNESTY in ANY form is a deal-breaker.

And it’s not just amnesty, it’s homosexual “marriage “, abortion, and total disrespect of conservatives and our values.
And now its his judgment as well. Why he would pick someone like her to be in charge of getting his message out is beyond me.
