Also comes two days after alleged kidnapper was fired at by the LAPD
A manhunt is underway after two plain-clothes police officers were shot and wounded while driving through a South Los Angeles neighborhood in what has been described as a 'targeted' attack.
The officers, who have not been identified, were reportedly fired at near the intersection of 65th Street and Broadway on Sunday evening. It is unclear whether they were in a marked vehicle at the time.
They subsequently returned fire, causing several suspects to scatter, police said. The officers were treated at the scene for minor gunshot wounds, while a number of people were detained by police.
Now, a search has been launched for two male suspects who were allegedly involved in the shooting and are on the run. Dozens of officers, including SWAT members, were at the scene Sunday night.....

It used to be the case that gangs were very down on people who shot police, because the police response would be to not bother trying to take arrestees alive, until the cop killer was caught.

While there are some abuses by police officers, this isn’t the norm, IMO. You better care - because like it or not - the police serve a purpose - without them it would be total chaos on the streets. If zero and his ilk have their way - it could come to this. Good heavens, what is wrong with you?

I agree with Don W ,, EVERY encounter I have had with the police has been abusive and if taken to court or IA I have had them “testily” against me... maybe they’re not all bad , maybe it’s those darn 99% making the rest look bad.
And don’t take that to mean I’m a criminal , I’ve never spent a single minute in jail.
It will become impossible for citizens to AFFORD law enforcement, before long.
That’s given.
The ultimate question is, HOW will order be kept THEN?
