We can and do. Thanks for trying. If you drive in a state, you must obey the traffic laws of that state, not the state you came from.
Issues with drugs are not fixed by criminalizing them.
Country figured this out with the monstrosity of Prohibition. At least that abomination was a power lawfully conferred to the Federal government by Constitutional amendment.
Everyone interested in liberty and limited government should oppose the usurpation of Federal drug laws, in addition to misery they exacerbate in society.
You have your goals, but legalizing drugs won’t fix the police issues we complain about.
once divorce became easy, the war was on.....
Without the Drug War this couple doesn't find themselves accosted by a cop on the side of the road, so that's not even correct at first blush...
So in your little mind the cops, policing, and procedures are fine, it is only heroin and meth, etc being illegal, that makes them appear to the rest of us that we have bigger problems with policing than whatever key word they use, while doing what they do.
Sorry. You’re wrong. For speed limits and fraffic laws, yes, you must follow the laws of the state in which you are driving.
On matters of equipment standards, vehicle inspection requirements, etc, the states are required to give “full faith and credit” to other states’ stanards. If that were not the case, then traveling this country would be absolute chaos.
It would be both both stupid and counter-productive to expect drivers to stop at each state line and do the necessary parts chang/modifications to their vehicles necessary to make their vehicle “legal” in each state they wish to visit.
I’m not wrong. I am telling you what the GA Supreme Court said in that decision.
Wrong. That deputy looks like a complete mess. What the hell kind of police uniform is that? Thug cap pulled down over the ears. Short sleeved shirt two sizes too small worn over a long-sleeved undergarment of another color? Bursting out of his trousers which are also too small? Not clean shaven? Wonder if was wearing jackboots?
Much too fat. This barbecue-sucking slob must be a relative of the sheriff.
BTW, IMNVHO, improper technique letting the driver out of the car alongside the freeway.
“...is to look for criminal activity rather than to protect and to serve the public.”
Per USSC police do not protect and serve- The police do not have constitutional duty to protect and serve- most police cars no llonger have the motto on the dooor.
Police now have different function and should be viewed in that light
Watch at 0.53 seconds his left hand is in his pocket. It looks like either real bad technique or he is palming a drop packet for the dog to alert on and use that to seize the car.
