Carl Sagan is arguably science's biggest rockstar—the ultimate champion for logic and reason. Which makes it all the more painful to find out that his son is a vehement 9/11 truther.

In a recent interview for a radio show called 9/11 Free Fall (already off to a great start), Jeremy Sagan—the younger son of Sagan senior and his first wife, fellow scientist Lynn Margulis—went off on all us closed-minded sheeple. In response to a prompt asking when he first "woke up," Sagan remarks:

The thing I don't get about the "controlled demolition" theorists is that they (usually) don't deny that the planes hit the building. But if the planes hit the building, wouldn't that in and of itself be regarded as an act of war, regardless of whether the buildings eventually collapsed?

If 9/11 was an inside job, why would the conspirators have had the planes fly into the buildings AND wired the buildings for demolition? The whole thing is nuts. My local public access TV channel is full of 9/11 crap, and I get livid listening to it. ("Then don't listen to it.") I just want to smack those people with their smug, slanderous paranoia.

I once argued with my brother that to set up some controlled demolitions at those buildings it would take a team of hundreds. Not to mention that thousands more had to be in on it.

If it were a false flag, then some people would be blowing that whistle to high heaven. I will admit that coincidence seems to stretch, and lose all integrity that day. But then I know our minds cannot possibly comprehend what happened. He kept saying why wouldn’t they be able to? I concede that “they” could have, but not one person of the thousands it would have taken to do it have spoken up? But I also know that day was a multiple shock event. Literally, shock, after shock , after shock, after shock. People just couldn’t believe it was possible.

Many minds cannot handle it. I couldn’t. I was about 13-15. Just recently I realized how important that day was, and how it changed my life. Even though I was 3000 miles away.
I will concede it is fishy that there was only one official investigation. Pearl harbor had what, a dozen or so? But I believe the official story.

I still cannot understand the motivation behind it. It defies all reason. But that’s from my point of view. Not everyone is the same as me, nor thinks the same. This is what “truthers” are forgetting. You can’t get into Osama bin Ladens head by knowing your own. All you can do is kill him, and let the dust settle. That’s it. We did too. His rotten corpse should have been paraded from coast to coast. People should have been allowed to desecrate it, and at the end fed to a bunch of hogs.

What really disgusts me is how fast Americans are to forget. Even the farthest left progressive was screaming for blood that day. But when Obama allowed Osama a full islamic respectful burial there was not one peep. The arrogance of this nations people astounds me. I honestly believe it is a symptom of true freedom. I think most men don’t know what to do with freedom, and subconsciously wish to be dominated. The modern progressive/liberal does not deserve freedom, and will eventually ensure that no one else does either.

I just turned thirty, I am afraid for the future. The world hates America. A second civil war will have all of our enemies picking at us as we kill each other. But that’s what it is going to come down to, that or Americans will finally give up their freedom and go home. Because the modern liberal cannot handle it. Without a huge portion of the population waking up we are screwed.

Carl Sagans son is too f**king stupid to be an idiot. To explain again for the millionth time. The outside supporting steel columns for the the shape of the building itself, two hundreds yards by two hundred yards square. The floors were’’ carried off’’ that is to say, supported by light weight steel structures called trusses. These were welded to the outside steel columns and then anchored steel brackets fastened to the concrete core that housed the elevator shafts in the inside of this core which as ran through this core the buss ducts for the electrical systems as well as steam pipes and water pipes. Once your anchored the truss in a pattern creating a floor lay out you take large galvanized corrugated sheet ‘’pans’’, You weld these to the steel for lay out and pour the concrete floor and viola , you have a floor. Replicate this 110 times and you have a 110 story office building. To secure the four sided steel ‘’box’’, that is the outside steel columns the builders constructed a 9 ton steel ‘’cap’’. A steel structure looking some what like a steel horse but what this cap had wa a square shape and four ‘’legs’’ that held the steel columns in place. Explosive would not have bought down either of the buildings as they had floor space that was very wide and plenty of glass that would have dissipated the force of the blast. The ‘’controlled demolition’’ theory is total and complete bullsh!t. What destroyed the Trade center was heat. Heat weakend the trusses, softening to the point where the top ones snapped away from the outside steel columns and gravity took over.

Or the fact that the Pentagon plane turned from due south, to west, to north, to east (270 degrees) so it could specifically hit the office of naval intelligence in the Pentagon?

Late-1993, renowned astronomer Carl Sagan learnt that Apple’s forthcoming computer, the Power Macintosh 7100, had been given a codename of “Carl Sagan” — the joke being that they would sell “billions and billions.” This was mentioned in a MacWEEK article some time later, to which Sagan sent the following letter in response.

Apple soon changed the codename to “BHA.” Upon learning that it stood for “Butt-Head Astronomer,” Sagan filed a lawsuit for defamation of character, and lost. He then sued Apple again, for the original codename, and lost again. So he appealed. Late-1995, the two parties settled out of court, and Apple apologised for any unintended distress caused by the situation.

The 7100’s final codename was “LAW.” It stood for “Lawyers Are Wimps.”

The building was not wired for demolition. It was not the kind of building that could be demolished that why since the supporting steel columns were on the outside of the building and the floors were carried off by trusses. Heat, softening the trusses and then those trusses pulling away from the supporting steel beams is what destroyed the Trade Center. not explosives.

But a 9/11 truther is someone that believes that the “they” did it.

“They” can be anyone from “the jooos!”, to “Bush”, to “NWO”, to “illuminati”....or is it the “freemasons?”

All the 9/11 truther arguments come down to the same motivation. So that America could wage war around the world for oil. That can’t possibly be true. We have oil, lots of it. Much easier to gag and bag important leftist envirowackos in the middle of the night and disappear them then drill here. Then to spend trillions of $, and thousands of lives on it. Plus, where is all that oil?

What is the motivation then? There isn’t one.

The only narrative that fits is radical islam did it so they could have a round of high fives (or whatever the equivalent is). That’s what they do. Kill as many people as possible on live television to incite fear, chaos, and death.

The only possible coverup I can imagine happening is that the feds knew the plot in advance. But they didn’t know the perps, nor the time table. Or they didn’t believe it possible.
