Hillary Clinton Could Face Jail Time As Email Scandal Sparks Legal Challenges

Hillary Rodham Clinton could face up to three years in prison per message if she is found to have broken her word and handled classified information on the secret account, one open records expert told The Washington Times. By Stephen Dinan March 11, 2015

The Obama administration will soon find itself in court having to explain to federal judges why it never told anyone former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton used a secret email address, potentially spoiling dozens of open records requests, experts said Wednesday.

And Mrs. Clinton could face up to three years in prison per message if she is found to have broken her word and handled classified information on the secret account, one open records expert told The Washington Times.

The legal challenges have already begun, with The Associated Press filing a federal lawsuit saying the State Department has foiled five years’ worth of requests for Mrs. Clinton’s emails, but never told them or the court that she kept her own server — meaning that her emails weren’t being searched.

Meanwhile, the White House tried to keep Mrs. Clinton at arm’s length, insisting she alone can answer questions about what she did, and saying that none of Mr. Obama’s aides were involved in helping her decide which emails to turn over to the State Department and which to delete.

I don’t trust the AP and their ‘legal’ requests.

This could be a ploy to keep the e-mails from being disclosed until after the 2016 elections.

The AP might be running interference for Hillary, since, she is their candidate, and forcing legal action could give Hillary an excuse to keep the e-mails hidden because of ‘ongoing investigations from the legal challenges that the AP issued.”.

It’s driving me crazy the way the commie ‘RAT fags and drug addicts look you right in the face and throw a tantrum about the letter the 47 Senators sent to the camel jockeys over in Iran. For the first time since 2008, I am proud of my country again. The ‘RAT fags and addicts can throw all the tantrums they want. We won’t let the bass turds get away with trying to use this letter to divert our attention from Slick Willie’s Yoga lady’s email problems. We’re going to keep the heat on.

If she’s jailed, can she still get her next award from Jeb Bush?

While Hillary may well have discussed classified information in her emails to both private and government recipients, it is very unlikely that she passed classified documents through her home based email server. Classified documents reside on either the SIPRNet if they are at the SECRET level or the JWICS if they are TOP SECRET. These two networks are not connected to the internet, so you can’t forward a document from SIPRNet over to the NIPRNet or to a private email address. That’s not possible, and Hillary is not likely to have gone through the steps necessary to transfer information from SIPRNet to NIPRnet and then to her private account. This is especially relevant if she really had no NIPRNet account as she claims.

She would have been able to fat finger (no pun intended) classified information into an email and send it through her system, if fact I would be very surprised if she had not done that at some point. But, sending classified documents on her private domain, I doubt that happened. That will make prosecution difficult, if not impossible.

She is deep political doo doo, but probably not much legal doo doo.

She could also drown in a Tsunami, be eaten by a Killer Whale, be selected for the Mars Voyage, win the Lotto, get elected President, lose 80 pounds, etc.

You will be sure to keep us posted?

Rush suggested that Clinton did this -- not to hide her e-mails from the voters, but to hide her e-mails from Obama and Jarrett.

Hillary is way too conservative for them. They want Elizabeth Warren or someone else from the Lenin/Marx wing of the Democrat party.

They won’t find classified material on her server anymore because its already been deleted. I don’t think thats how it work, you can’t destroy the material after the fact that its already out then say you didn’t break the law. The fact that its out is already against the law

The reason Killary will never see the inside of a jail cell or even be tried for any of her numerous crimes is named Loretta Lynch.

That jail cell is way nicer than she deserves.

Right. Eric Holder will certainly prosecute her just as soon as he apologizes for his contempt of congress.
