and fuel efficient turbofan engines allow cruise missiles to be lighter and cheaper than their ballistic counterparts.

Oh $h!t. They have a small TF, think low TSFC ='s range, not good...

Look’s an awful lot like the US Tomahawk cruise missile.

"Look’s an awful lot like the US Tomahawk cruise missile."

I wonder how much else of it resembles the Ground Launched (BGM-109G) Cruise Missile system.

We used to have GLCM with W80 warheads. Too bad we gave all that up to ‘appease’ the Russians.

Those filthy Chinese. They’re always hanging around on Main Street wearing an overcoat.

“Hey Baby! Wanna see my cruise missile?”

Like anybody would want to see their small little cruise missiles.

Like all lasers, requires a long dwell target dwell time, and near perfect atmospheric conditions. A cruise missile low to the ground is not going to give you that.

I wish the FR cadre of lasers as the answer to missile defense would give it up. It is only one part of the solution.

Hope and change. The guidance systems were courtesy of Brother Billy though.

This missile is reported to have a 4,000KM + range.

I believe it, but where are the fuel tanks in such a slim, 25' airframe? If these small turbojets are so small and get such great mileage economy, why can't we have them for civilian aircraft?

Using US parts, no doubt, while we use Chinese parts in ours.

New worries for the USA. Socrates said it best: “Only the dead have seen the end of war.” Someday the USA and Red China will have it out—and it will be a naval war like WW II in the Pacific. This time Japan will be on our side.
