It seemed like routine business for the student council at the University of California, Los Angeles: confirming the nomination of Rachel Beyda, a second-year economics major who wants to be a lawyer someday, to the councils Judicial Board.
Until it came time for questions.
Given that you are a Jewish student and very active in the Jewish community, Fabienne Roth, a member of the Undergraduate Students Association Council, began, looking at Ms. Beyda at the other end of the room, how do you see yourself being able to maintain an unbiased view?
For the next 40 minutes, after Ms. Beyda was dispatched from the room, the council tangled in a debate about whether her faith and affiliation with Jewish organizations, including her sorority and Hillel, a popular student group, meant she would be biased in dealing with sensitive governance questions that come before the board, which is the campus equivalent of the Supreme Court.
The council, in a meeting that took place on Feb. 10, voted first to reject Ms. Beydas nomination, with four members against her. Then, at the prodding of a faculty adviser there who pointed out that belonging to Jewish organizations was not a conflict of interest, the students revisited the question and unanimously put her on the board.
The session a complete recording of which has been removed from YouTube has served to spotlight what appears to be a surge of hostile sentiment directed against Jews at many campuses in the country
Its egregious and startling, Mr. Kosmin said. If they had used this with any other group sexual, racial, any kind of identity group they would have realized it was illegal.

So the Leftist indoctrination her fellow students had received made them anti-Semitic?
When will the overall Jewish population wake up about the Left in this country?
This is funny, since when I attended UC Berkeley many years ago, UCLA was often referred to as “JooCLA.”
Obama imitators disgust me. Their Dear Leader pretends that gay “marriage” is real, so they all pretend too. The communist in our White House shows his hatred for Jews, so they all join in like other mindless socialist followers in the past have done for their antisemitic leaders.
So what ethnicity is Ms. Roth?
Now it stands for: Ugly Caucasians, Lots of Asians
A SHJ [self hating jew], in the 40s she would have been a Capo in a C camp.
Looks like slimes writer found the above referenced piece and used it as the basis for his story.
If a self-hating Jew is anything like the “self-hating Americans,” the term is entirely inappropriate. You will find very few people with a higher opinion of themselves and people like them than a liberal American who hates America.
He hates other Americans, not himself. I suspect SHJs are much the same.
Time to revisit the Killing Fields. Our universities and high schools have become reeducation camps: no learning allowed.
One of my daughters graduated from UC Berkeley, she managed to survive (like you). Another daughter graduated from UC Santa Cruz, where she was heavily involved with the Hillel student group. She enjoyed it immensely, more about fun while studying and nothing about politics. Two very different campuses.
Given that you are a gay student and very active in the gay community how do you see yourself being able to maintain an unbiased view?
If the UCLA student leaders are so stupid that they don't recognize bias against Jews is no different than bias against African Americans, UCLA must simply be closed down.
Fabienne Roth is gaining quite the Jew-hater reputation. See the comments here (with a photo of her):

Some are saying she is from Germany. See post 15.
Sounds like things have changed with Obunga and his PC police everywhere.
She’s not going to be a very good lawyer. She should have immediately asked specifically HOW being a Jew makes her biased, and thereby made the questioner out themself as a bigot.
Fabienne? Is that German for “fake blonde?”
