Mike Pompeo says the Benghazi committee knew since August about Hillary's private email. Greta asks him why the committee didn't do something about it in August. He said he wouldn't go into detail as to what the committee did at the time.

Disgusting that the committee didn't do anything in August.

Greta's other point is why they didn't just subpoena Mrs. Clinton, instead of the State Department.

Trey Gowdy has been claiming the committee was unaware that the State Department did not have them.

No because they contain classified material.

Hillary’s rantings are for the idiot sycophants that abound in her world, 90% of whom are card carrying media worms. Of course she could release everything on HER server, but this is the last thing that she will do. She will stand back and allow the Hillary Kamikaze Corps to work their magic.

State has Hillary’s ‘official’ emails. Hillary has her ‘personal’ emails. Hillary got to determine which were which.

She can release them to the State department where the emails were supposed to be in the first place.

Evidently, she didn't use a State Department email address. She only used her private email.

There is a completely reasonable explanation for this “tempest in a teapot” issue, which is being inflamed by the Tea Party and other extremist right-wing Republicans. The emails, which don’t contain classified material, are being sorted by the state department because they contain classified material.

Oh, wait...

If this were an ordinary peon citizen the FBI would have conducted a no-knock dynamic entry at 0-Dark Thirty a couple of hours after it was learned that she had her own server.

"No because they contain classified material."

That's why no one is going to do anything about this obvious felony. The info on her server would implicate a great many folks from both parties. She has violated the security protocols but nobody wants to reveal what she has. I don't think even the Chinese would want to relinquish the info because they can use it as a lever.

Using personal email as a sole method of communication appears to skirt rules outlined by the National Archives and Records Administration in 2013 - after Clinton left the State Department. The government agency stipulates that personal email can only be used in “emergency situations,” and when used, the emails “are captured and managed in accordance with agency record-keeping practices.” The New York Times first reported Clinton’s exclusive use of a personal email account on Monday night.

but doesn't she still have them?

You're kidding, right?

The whole purpose of her scheme was so that she could delete them.

Anyone else would have been perp-walked, with news helicopter shots of boxes of evidence being removed from the home by federal agents.

I agree. According to Mike Pompeo tonight, the committee knew since August. This was new information. I am disgusted with Trey Gowdy. August was before the elections and yet, Gowdy did nothing.

That was Greta’s question. It is at the link.
I know better. Greta was dumbfounded though that the committee knew since August and did nothing.

Would they wait for you or me to lawyer up if they wanted to look at our hard drives? Would they even call and say “we’re coming over tomorrow to look at your computer?” I don’t think so.

Who knows how well that server was secured. I’m sure Annomyous or the ChiComs have attempted to or gained access to it.
