Former Mossad head urges Israeli voters to oust Binyamin Netanyahu
Meir Dagan says prime minister’s policies are ‘destructive to the future and security of Israel’

A former head of Israel’s foreign intelligence service Mossad is urging voters to oust Binyamin Netanyahu in the next general election, accusing the prime minister of endangering the country’s security with his stance on the Iranian nuclear programme.

Meir Dagan, a vocal critic of Netanyahu’s Iran policy since stepping down as Mossad chief four years ago, is to be a keynote speaker at a rally in Tel Aviv next weekend, calling on the public to turf the prime minister out of office on 17 March.

The definitive answer to why the Mossad won’t spill what it knows about Obama’s background. Netanyahu’s not a dictator.

He would rather for Iran to destroy Israel, I guess!

Quoting Kristol ...

As it will be a moment of vindication for Zionism, the cause to which he and his family have dedicated their lives. In past episodes of Jews’ being consigned by the world to their fate, they were powerless to fight. And so the world (and not a few Jews) became accustomed to Jews’ playing the role of victim. On March 3, something remarkable and historic will happen. The prime minister of Israel, speaking on behalf of not only his country and millions of Jews, but on behalf of the West itself, will command the world’s attention as he declares his refusal to appease the enemies of Israel and the West. Both Jabotinsky and Churchill, both Ben-Gurion and Truman, would appre

There are still some Jews who are afflicted with JSS. Jewish Suicide Syndrome. And others who can be bought off by obama/soros/Saudis/. I was afraid for Israel from the beginning when Bibi called for new elections. There’s a ton, probably in the billions, of dollars being spent to install a Quisling government in Jerusalem to sell the country out while Obsms is still in power.

So, with this tortured logic, Bibi is dangerous because he is against a dangerous bunch of lunatics that want to nuke Israel?

Like liberals everywhere, Israeli liberals engage in wishful thinking. The argument is that, unlike Arabs, Persians are a civilized people who are not suicidal and any crazy mullahs are an aberration. It’s a serious argument.

“What is the logic here?”

“Our standing in the world is not brilliant right now. The question of Israel’s legitimacy is up for debate. We should not erode our relations with our most important friend. Certainly not in public, certainly not by becoming involved in its domestic politics. This is not proper behaviour for a prime minister.”

Where he is mistaken in his logic is to consider obama a friend.

It’s also one of the MAJOR TALKING POINTS of the opposition to Netanyahu, in the upcoming election. They are hammering on THIS ISSUE in order to outst Netanyahu. It’s their main point, you might say.

In that sense, all this furor over the Joint Session of Congress speech by Netanyahu, has played right into the hands of the opposition in Israel. From that they say, “You see! We were telling you exactly that!”

Why did he step down in Israel’s most dangerous time and does his successor share his opinion?

A lot of Brits in 1937 thought Churchill was “dangerous” because he dared speak out against Hitler.

“Our standing in the world is not brilliant right now. The question of Israel’s legitimacy is up for debate.”

He sounds like our RINOs - Agrees with the opposition’s premise right off the bat instead of opposing it.

If you agree that the legitimacy of your own country is up for debate, you’re well on your way to losing your country.

What the hell is wrong with these people? Netanyahu is endangering Israel’s security? I wonder what this guy’s last words will be when he sees that bright light.

“The question of Israel’s legitimacy is up for debate.”

Imagine the propaganda value for Iran, Hamas, self hating jews, and all enemies of Israel of such a statement from a person whose main job was to protect Israel.

If such a assertion is not treasonous I don’t know what is.

I would be surprised if Bibi doesn’t hammer that home in his campaign.

It’s the same logic that our left uses when they say “don’t fight terrorism and those that want to destroy you because you make them even more mad.”
