With the exception of John Kerry, Susan Rice and Samantha Power are Obama’s leading foreign-policy advisors. Which means that they must have been fully on-board, if not the principal instigators, of Obama’s obsessive anti-Israel, anti-Netanyahu attacks over the past month.

Yet now we have these two Obama groupies choosing to honor AIPAC, American’s principal pro-Israel, pro-Obama organization, with their presences.

Has hell frozen over? It’s more likely that Obama has received calls from major Jewish donors threatening to turn down requests for contributions to Obama’s future library and foundation unless Obama shows a newfound respect for AIPAC and everything it stands for.

However, unless Obama himself publicly ends his boycott of Netanyahu and his speeches, it’s unlikely that sending Susan and Samantha to AIPAC will have much impact. It would be like when Obama boycotted the Paris anti-terrorist rally after the Charlie Hebdo murders but then sent John Kerry and James Taylor on an embarrassing mission to try to make up for it.

If Valerie Jarrett and Michelle Obama find out that Obama’s future foundation might not be able to take in enough money to pay their exorbitant salaries, we’ll probably be treated to an Oval Office meeting between Bibi and Obama with Obama singing the praises of the Holy Land and its leader.
