Russia has never adhered to international standards and international treaties, former Ukrainian President Leonid Kravchuk said on Ukrainian televisions 112 Ukraine channel on Wednesday.
"Russia never adhered to international standards and international treaties in its history, I mean, in Soviet history. It always acted spontaneously. Today's Russia does not adhere to international agreements and documents signed with its neighboring countries," he said.
As an example, Kravchuk noted the Budapest Memorandum and the agreement between Russia and Ukraine on Friendship and Cooperation.

Signed agreements mean nothing in international politics.
Yeah, just like Iran....oh, wait....
“Promises are like pie crusts, made to be broken.”
“Treaties are made to be broken, just ask any Indian.”

The support Russia gets here is incredible, no matter what the criticism is, Russia’s defenders leap on the thread like it was 1980 again and this was The Nation magazine.
But we haven’t had Obama. The world has the utmost respect for Obama.
I almost rolled out of my recliner laughing when Fox announced no cease fire was observed by either side. The decision was made “for them”, but failed to tell them.
Russia does what it wants—Germany and France just gave Putin the Green light to take eastern states for his New Russia. Kiev better make a good deal while they can before they look out the window and see T-90s rolling into town as an escort for President Putin and his new “Piece Treaty” . Obama will do zip—England will do zip—the great powers of the past are like scared rabbits who can not control the minorities in their own cities let alone a well armed nuclear power with ambition and drive to re-construct the Soviet Union/Czarist Empire of old. Ukraine might (just might) be better off under Moscow.
It’s the conservatives in name only morphing into the New Left as constant apologists for Putin and Russian Imperialism.
