Assyrians in northeastern Syria villages awoke Tuesday to ISIS militants at their doors, with the Islamist extremists abducting scores from the Christian group and forcing hundreds more to run for their lives, an advocate said.
The ISIS fighters bust past a few men guarding the village of Tal Shamiram around 4 a.m. (9 p.m. ET Monday) and abducted children, women and the elderly, said Usama Edward, the founder of the Assyrian Human Rights Network.
Talking to CNN from Stockholm, Sweden, Edward said that between 70 and 100 people total were kidnapped in that village and others in the same cluster near Tal Tamer in Al Hasakah province.

When will one of these villages get mad enough to say, I don’t care if it kills me, but ISIS will menace the world no more.
No doubt the Iman-in-Chief at the White House is cackling with glee. And the people continue to watch the Super Bowl and the Oscars and refuse to rouse from their stupor. America is no more. They just haven’t gotten the memo yet.

It can be understood to an extent to turn the other cheek on one’s own behalf. That is always a valid Christian option.
But when a group like this comes out menacing everyone, now a different duty kicks in, that of protecting your neighbors — some of who might not even be Christians yet (this is one of the paradoxes of Christianity, that Christians ought to care even more about nonbelievers’ lives because they will go to hell if they die).
Without the Lord they will be no more.
What is interesting, it seems that the only “Christians” that make the news by being abducted by ISIS are those with relations to Catholicism. Those on the ground report that daily, Christians of several varieties are executed - often by the dozens, as are believers in other faiths.
ISIS murders anyone who doesn’t adopt Islam, and in particular - their bloody, literal version of it (probably the most purely accurate and Quran-based form of Islam).
That’s what the enslaved women were begging for.
The Isis barbarians were raping them in horrific ways and they were begging for an air strike.
Maybe we should have not gotten involved in this in the first place.

Anderson Cooper did not mention this in his show, spending long segments instead to the California train wreck (nobody dead), the New Jersey truck fire (nobody dead) but nothing on this attack on “random citizens” (as Obama prefers to call them) Anderson taking his cues (as usual) from the Administration, WHICH HAS YET TO COMMENT.
Let me guess. The “scores” they abducted are all young females?
