Below is the final paragraph of Cuomo’s Wikipedia entry. It really tells us all we need to know about his concept of journalistic ethics:
Cuomo is an admirer of journalist Dan Rather and publicly defended him after CBS fired him in wake of the Killian documents controversy of 2004. Of Rather, Cuomo cajoled on Twitter, June 12, 2014, “There are those who create the standard and others who follow it. Dan Rather is the former; I am the latter!”

God and our founding documents say differently.

I wonder if Chris Cuomo realizes that, if he really believes that his earthly sovereign granted him his rights, that he lives in an intellectual world of a thousand years ago, prior to the adoption of the Magna Carta.
Just think...this sniveling buffoon who thinks of himself as a well-educated, modern man is mentally mired in the Middle Ages, from an Enlightenment standpoint.

Man's rights are inalienable and can't be "God given" since what is given can be taken away. Big blank out.

When government believes it can create or take away rights, it becomes a god unto itself ...Exactly what a commie like Cuomo supports.

The DoI says ‘endowed’ not ‘given,’ ‘Creator’ not ‘God’ and ‘unalienable’ not ‘inalienable.’ There are important distinctions between all of those word comparisons.

Exactly. Cuomo changed the subject which is typical from the “progressives” when they lose

I’ll accept your “clarifications” and still define rights as belonging to human beings by virtue of their nature, not as bestowed by the supernatural.

That is why 'endowed' is superior to 'given' or 'bestowed.' It carries the connotation that the endowment in question arises with the creation of a being, as a part of what it is, rather than in addition to. Which leads to why the word 'Creator' is important and a brilliant thing for Jefferson to do. Even an atheist cannot deny they (and all beings) have been created.

I’m talking about existence. I know of no religion, no spiritual tradition nor any scientific theory or philosophy that contends that beings exist without having been created in some manner or another. That would require a view so nihilistic that only a schizophrenic could hold it. Or so eternalistic that it holds that humans (to include every individual) has always existed.

After reading your description on Cuomo being unenlightened, I pictured liberal heads exploding everywhere. I smiled...

A junior high school, somewhere, is missing one of its students. (not to mention one of its macaroons)
