I don't think 56 is "over the hill" when it comes to producing music.
For example, Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan are still putting out good stuff. Leonard just turned 80 I believe and Dylan not that far behind.

Oh my goodness.. I just recently saw Dave Mason.. What a Great show! I'll be seeing Jeff Beck, Mark Knopfler and George Thorogood soon.. Glad they still tour! It's my only entertainment!
