So there should be a stack of books from all or many of the religions known to man awaiting students in the rooms?

No Tao Te Chings, no Vedas, no Bible, no Qurans and so on will await any students in any rooms. What say you?

I say one of those IS the Word of God, and the others are not. If there is one book that one should immerse themselves, and learn, and love - it is the Gift that God gave to us.

Queen Victoria: ""That book (the Bible) accounts for the supremacy of England."

If Britain wants to regain the 'Great' that was once part of their name - they should continue to spread the Bibles amongst their people.

How is religious freedom being destroyed if Bibles, Korans, Tao te Chings and other religious books will be available to those that desire them?

The Bibles making them “uncomfortable” should be a sign.

They probably should be installing large crucifixes in each room, tell the little demons “They’re for your protection, it makes Satan uncomfortable”.

This is really simple... Bible yes, Koran no. Why do people constantly try to argue that to allow one is to require us to allow others? Just allow the Bible and nothing else.

You get the same nonsense from people who support removing mention of Christ from school functions. They say “would you want muslims saying a prayer there, or praising Allah?” No, but that doesn’t need to be an option. Christianity only, no others allowed.

The commie-pinko-leftist Christian haters
will always talk about how the world must
change based on whether something makes
them feel uncomfortable.

The feeling I get from their demand that
Bibles not be left in-room is obviously
just a ploy to shove my belief in the
Lord Jesus Christ down their throats. /s

I wouldn't like a Quran awaiting me in the room I was to move into

I would....

I say “STFU” and remove it yourself if you don’t want it there. Return it to the university library and be done with it.

But for Gods sake stop whining.

Can you imagine trying to sleep in a room knowing there’s a Bible lurking in one of the drawers?

They are usually in a drawer. They will not jump out and eat you.

Perhaps this young male should work on being less superstitious.

The policy should be that no religion will be given preference over another. I don’t like Dominion Theology at all.

Well actually, considering where it is...the Bibles should be being provided by the Church of England.

The UK has traveled a long way from Churchill's “Finest Hour.”

As I recall, in that same speech Churchill implored Britain to “save Christian civilization” from the Nazis.

And, as UK and American troops prepared to launch D-Day, General Eisenhower called the invasion “our great Crusade.”

“seeking the removal of Gideon Bibles from their dorm rooms as the presence of the scriptures allegedly makes them feel “uncomfortable.” ...”

That’s what its supposed to do haji. When you wanna bugger a 9 year old, be gay, make a suicide vest,,,etc. That Gideon bible is sitting there in silent judgment of you. Act right and you wont feel uncomfortable.

Have they considered taking the Bible outside, and leaving it?

Just a thought.
