Leading figures in Republican fundraising will hold a teleconference next week calling for an overhaul to U.S. immigration policy — a move that could put pressure on GOP presidential hopefuls as they head toward 2016. The Tuesday call, which will be moderated by longtime conservative immigration advocate Grover Norquist, will include Mitt Romney’s former finance director Spencer Zwick; California-based fast food CEO Andrew Puzder; and billionaire health care executive Mike Fernandez.

And Norquist has connections with oil oligarchs etc so more uniparty blather as far as I am concerned. Norquist lives in La La land. He is the guy behind the “No Increase Taxes” pledge yet he favors Open Borders that will result in more pressure to increase social spending for the low wage immigrant and their children. He is one of those I like to call Suicide Libertarians.

I am all for action it it means deporting illegals and building a fence.

Anybody who advocates amnesty, open borders, and immigration from enemy countries or of undesirables is delusional, a traitor, or bribed/blackmailed.

No conservative or even a liberal who loves this country would under any condition support amnesty. Its devastating impact is obvious and cannot be denied.

My first thought after 9/11 was, how are we going to find terrorists among all these illegals? (there probably were only 12 million then)
I expected President Bush to deploy troops from Fort Hood and elsewhere in the southwest and seal the border. Then start in the northern states and sweep the country with interior enforcement. Word getting out would cause an exodus and the country would be secured.

Reality slapped me in the face when Bush cut interior enforcement and border enforcement. He dropped the mask completely in 2006 with McCain-Kennedy. Both parties are fully committed to stealing our country from us and they don’t care if amnesty is opposed by 70% of the citizens.

1. borders sealed
2. enforcement of laws prohibiting employers hiring illegals
3. forbid illegals obtaining any welfare benefits
4. forbidding anchor babies
5. mandate the Border Patrol to enforce all laws enacted for the protection of the borders
6. Any city giving sanctuary forfeits all federal money allocated to them.
7. etc.,etc.,etc.

Exactly my thoughts. Jorge Arbusto had the opportunity to solve our immigration problem handed to him on a silver platter and the huge majority of Americans would have supported him. Yet instead of securing the borders, he opened them up even more and ramped up the importation of mohammedans.

I was banned from this board during Bush’s presidency for stating that if there was anything he should be impeached for it was his failure to uphold our immigration laws. I don’t see how that statement could be denied by any conservative.
