Isn’t murder always an act of hatred, the ultimate act of evil in its finality? I once heard a newscast refer to a murder as a “hate murder”. Murder is always hate, and with a murder, the act completely overshadows the motivation.
I have the general feeling that had a Jewish friend wearing a yamaka been with the married couple instead of the sister, then 2 Muslims and a Jew would have been killed instead of 3 Muslims. I suspect he had murder on his mind, and anyone unlucky enough to be with the prime target(s) was going to be collateral damage.

Reports are coming out from the community that this guy was just a neighborhood bully and had angry, threatening encounters with many. It had nothing to do with bias and had everything to do with just being a mean, a**hol*.

I drove by our local Mosque and saw a bunch of mourners having a candlelight vigil for all the Americans beheaded by ISIS (NOT!!!)
We were told that the Jews in Paris were Not murdered because they were Jews, but they were just in the wrong place...maybe the muslims were just murdered because of location too? So, not a hate crime.
Here in NC, they are being identified as 3 muslim students over and over again.
The stories about the Christian woman recently beheaded by the muslim in Oklahoma have not mentioned religion.
From the looks of those posts, that murdering Atheist @$$hole did us a favor- we no longer need to go get that Muslim in preemptive self-defense.

Media is making a pretty big deal out of this. But - they're the only ones that seem to care. I mentioned the incident at work, and the folks I work with hadn't even heard of it.

I must have missed the candle-light vigil in Miami to honor the woman in Oklahoma who was beheaded by a black Muslim convert.
