The Obama Doctrine: Relativism at All Costs
Townhall.com ^ | February 7, 2015 | Nick Adams

Posted on 02/07/2015 7:34:41 AM PST by Kaslin

After six years in office, there are few things that President Obama does that surprises me.

Notwithstanding this, I was still shocked to hear his remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast.

Using some misguided moral equivalency, President Obama reached back over almost a thousand years to compare a group of Christians then to current day radical Islamists killing innocents in the name of Allah, telling Christians not to get on their “high horse”. (Not to mention, he conveniently omitted the context of the Crusades, a response to Islamic conquest).

At times during the speech, it appeared the President was taking on his much-coveted role of Professor, lecturing students. There is great irony here. He, along with his friends, the media-academic complex, the West’s left and their doctrine of relativism, are the ones that need a history lesson.

This doctrine is a denial of reality, makes it impossible to defeat the jihad, and putting homeland security at risk. The Bible is not the same as the Koran. All religions are not the same.

It has never been clearer: the West is at war with Islam. This is neither hypothesis nor opinion; it is reality. No delicacy, diplomacy, disguise or differentiation can alter this.

What is happening with ISIS, and what happened in Boston, Fort Hood, New York, Bali, Madrid, Sydney, London and most recently, Paris, is not unusual, or new or coincidental.

The truth concerning Islam has been a casualty of political correctness. The reality is that from its inception until now, Islam has been violent, with its purpose to bring mankind to Islam. Throughout history, it went to war to conquer and convert people in countries from the Atlantic Ocean to Western China. These were never defensive wars. None of the conquered countries threatened Muslim Arabia.

The Battle of Tours in 732. The Siege of Constantinople in 1453. The Battle of Lepanto in 1571. The Battle of Vienna in 1683. The Battle of Derne in 1804. It goes on.

A lack of liberty, an abandonment of reason, the imposition of Sharia on Muslims and non-Muslims, as well as the treatment of women are just some of the serious moral problems within the Muslim world. Islamist views are incompatible with the liberty enjoyed by Americans.

With Islamic supremacism a mainstream interpretation of Islam, deeply rooted in Islamic scripture and endorsed by many of Islam’s most influential scholars, we face this perpetual global jihad. It is in their DNA. Change is not coming.

They will not stop. The more we bow, the more they will bomb. The more we relate, equate and obfuscate, the weaker we become. The more we fear to offend and the more we hesitate to identify the enemy, the more they edge toward victory. The deceptive adorning of qualities, most notably of Islam being a religion of peace, must stop. It is the West, beaconed by America, England and Australia from across the oceans, that has sought peace. Due to this advocacy and false narrative, our war is as much with the chattering classes as it is with the jihadi.

The current tyranny against common sense that presides in the West will quickly become the tyranny of Sharia, if we are not careful. Subservience to political correctness will turn to subservience to the Caliphate, if the Western world, led by America, does not wake up.

I have long maintained that Americans must prepare themselves for eventual full-scale war this century or the next with the Islamist.

If this becomes reality, the West will have no choice but to extirpate the enemy as mercilessly and thoroughly as possible, as this attitude defines the Islamist warrior and his jihad.

Demography is rampantly on the side of Islam, particularly in Europe, and as such, a most substantial increase in Islamic power in this territory of the world must be expected.

There is only one force that stands in the way of global Islam, and that is the United States of America.

It is deeply regrettable and telling that President Obama would desperately reach back 1000 years to make a comparison that would excuse or blunt the impact of militant Islam today.

Obama was, is and always will be a MUSLIM. He was raised that way and he has spoken and written that he supports their evil religion. Why is anyone surprised?

BO blames Bush for the wars, blames Wall St. for the economic collapse. blames racist Americans for Black failure, and blames Christians for Islamic terror.

We blame Obama and his Leftist cohorts for the worst presidency in our history. and we blame the most ignorant voters on the planet for giving this anti-American post turtle two terms to destroy America at the direction of its enemies.

There is  was only one force that stands  stood in the way of global Islam, and that is was the United States of America.

I'll give a small example of many to illustrate my point. The US government prints money to fund deficit spending in addition to high taxes that kill entrepreneurialism. The money printing slowly but surely undermines the world economy. Part of the spending is to pay Muslims in the US to send money Muslims abroad to help spread Islam. Most of the USAID contractors have Muslims on their staff and they are always being pressured to hire more, typically from the target countries.

Christianity reformed, at great human cost, but that period of chaos and unrest is now largely behind for the entire Christian movement.

When is Islam ever going to undergo a similar reformation of itself? Since the practice of that particular form of ideological purity relies entirely on only what is contained in the Koran and the various interpretations of the holy word of the Koran, without reference to outside theological works like the Torah, Old Testament, and New Testament, there is little room to question the assertions made some 1,400 years ago.

Except that there are directly opposite interpretations made at various times of the exact same words from the Koran, and the followers of Islam are at sharp disagreement among themselves as to which is right. Which is why we have Sunnis and Shi’ites at each others’ throats. No outside sources are permitted to be used in references to settling the dispute, as witness the absolute prohibition to allowing the distribution of the non-Muslim theological works in countries subject to Shari’ah law.

“BO blames Bush for the wars, blames Wall St. for the economic collapse. “

Read Charles Gasperino’s book about Obama and Wall Street. WS had a lot to do with him winning, as they didn’t have a good realationship with AZwipe McCain.

And don’t overlook the point about relativism. Relativism is simply a business card for liars.

War is ugly. War is bloody. There are no real rules in battle with this enemy. Yet, the left will use ‘American Values’ to condemn any action required. War guilt is, however, necessary to extract alms from those who choose to fight. Either way the Progressives make sure the cost will be too high forever.

The leftists will hold to their own absolutes like rebar in concrete. They use relativism to try to weaken their enemies' positions and beliefs.

I give you Will Munny from Unforgiven:

All right, I'm coming out. Any man I see out there, I'm gonna shoot him. Any sumbitch takes a shot at me, I'm not only gonna kill him, but I'm gonna kill his wife, all his friends, and burn his damn house down.

And that is how you conduct war. War is hell and the sooner you can get through it the better. Take no prisoners, scorch and salt the earth. Sherman was right.

It’s time we recognized Islam for what it really is: It’s not a religion, form of government, or anything recognizable by the civilized mind. Islam is a disease, a disease of the mind that is highly contagious among the feeble minded and is now spreading among the world’s feeble minded at an epidemic rate. As with any disease, one can’t reason with this disease, negotiate with it, or treat in any manner other than how one would treat any other disease.

The disease of Islam must be eradicated wherever it’s found, for if it’s not, this disease will eventually end not just Western Civilization, but will end over 5,000 years of human civilization.

Obama campaign promises:

I promise 100% transparency in my administration..

I promise NO NEW TAXES on a family making less than $250K a year..

“I will allow 5 days of public comment before I sign any bills.”.

“I will remove earmarks before I sign any bill.”.

“I will end Income Tax for seniors making less than $50K a year.”.

“I’ll put the Health Care negotiations on CSPAN so everyone can see who is at the table!”

“I’ll have no lobbyists in my administration.

I’ll close Guantanamo Bay.

I’ll resign if I don’t cut the deficit in half by the end of four years.

I believe marriage is between one man and one woman.

I won’t seek re-election unless unemployment falls below 5%.

I’ll unite the people of this great country.

“If you like your insurance you can keep it”

“If you like your doctor you can keep him

“The ACA will save most families $2500.00 a year”

He did look robotic during that speech. May be intoxication is a necessary precursor for being able to justify Jihad and extreme Islamism.
