Warren Buffett, the famed investor and Berkshire Hathaway (BRK.A) chief, told the FOX Business Network Wednesday that the Obama administration should approve TransCanada’s (TRP) Keystone XL pipeline.
In an exclusive interview with Liz Claman on “Countdown to the Closing Bell,” Buffett said he understands some opposition to the pipeline, which would cross his home state of Nebraska. But when asked if Keystone will be approved, he responded, “I think it should.”
“But that's always a problem with pipelines. There’s a lot of the not-in-my-backyard problem, but I think, by and large, Keystone should be done,” Buffett added.
The billionaire investor also put his political support behind former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, saying he’s back her “100 percent” if she runs for president in 2016.
“If she runs, she’ll win,” Buffett predicted.
Would he consider supporting former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush? “I think he’s a fine guy, but I’m for Hillary,” Buffett said.

Yeah he’s a scum bag that milked the rail/oil traffic for what it was worth via BNSF but it looks to me that he overshot his capability thinking he could rail haul all the Athabasca oil by rail. The numbers are simple. No amount of railroad can match the capability of a four foot pipeline blowing oil 24/7/365.
You don’t seem to have much understanding of Buffett or Berkshire Hathaway. As for his vote for Hillary, I have one vote too, and I’ll neutralize his.

I’d more likely believe the old POS has options already in place for the companies involved. He wouldn’t do this if there was not a profit for him, at someone else’s expense.
