A Nevada court has ruled FBI agents can dress up as ISP repairmen to blag their way into a suspect's home without a search warrant but must tell the courts about it when they do. |
dress up as ISP repairmen to blag their way into a suspect's home without a search warrantdress up as ISP repairmen to blag their way into a suspect's home without a search warrant …and how is this different from Watergate?
Because Oh, we told the court… That makes it ok!
?
Or because they're dressed as ISP repairmen instead of plumbers?
Or because it's a private residence, not a political venue?
Stupid Nevada!
Stupid FBI!

Nobody needs to “fix your broadband”.
Whether you use phone, cable, or satellite, it ain’t all that complicated.
1-wires to box - check
2-box test - pass/fail (if fail, get new box)
3-box to puter - check connect and puter app and performance
I’m not a puter wizard and haven’t had any home service calls in the last 25 years.

Sounds like some ploys we used to infiltrate missile bases during security tests when I was in the Army.
Aside from that, my sense tells me this is a violation of the 4th.
