The ruling Communist Party has "unleashed an extraordinary assault on basic human rights and their defenders with a ferocity unseen in recent years", the New York-based group Human Rights Watch said in its annual report.

The ruling party had made "positive steps in certain areas", HRW said, such as the official abolition of re-education through labour camps and the reform of the "hukou" household registration system, which has barred China's hundreds of millions of migrants from equal access to healthcare and other benefits.

But the Human Rights Watch report also voiced concern about Beijing's August 2014 decision "denying genuine democracy in Hong Kong", which sparked a wave of pro-democracy protests in the former British colony.

Didn’t Walmart actually oust the guy who started that “Made in the USA” promotion, like right after the announcement?

I’m not sure (don’t follow them closely), but that’s what I think.

There was a big thing, Walmart announced they were going to sell stuff made in America.

Then the guy got canned. I think. Anyone follow that story? (it was what, maybe 6 months ago?)

Did I get this wrong? Like I said, not following it closely.

The ruling Establishment Republican Party has "unleashed an extraordinary assault on basic human rights and their defenders with a ferocity unseen in recent years", the New York-based group Human Rights Watch said in its annual report.

Support of the 0bamacare, the full funding of amnesty, the no-result hearings on Behgazi, the implicit agreement to allow the IRS to be used as a political weapon, and the use of media and traditional liberal voters to defeat conservatives all are part of the assault.

Human Rights Watch is an extreme left-wing homosexual organ. They always have a motive in their reporting just like all other left-wing outlets (ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, NPR, PBS, CSPAN1-100). They are the homosexual Al-Jazera.

"Yet we buy, and we buy, and we buy)"

So, stop buying, if you don't like it. There's absolutely nothing in the US forcing you to buy Chinese manufactured goods.

America is overtaken by Chinese goods, unless you’ve been sleeping for the last 20 years you might have noticed.

We need to bring back manufacturing, to the United States.

I'm not only wide awake, I'm actually doing something about this, not just whining about it. The company I work for manufactures its products in the US, solely of US made components, and sells a good percentage of them in China.

As I said, if you don't like Chinese goods, stop buying them.
