What a sweet story. A local struggling mom writes a letter to the President and she gets not only a lunch meeting with him but later gets featured in his State Of The Union speech. A very touching story about a regular woman...who "coincidentally" was a Democrat operative. However, the Minneapolis Star Tribune very "mysteriously" left this very important fact out of the story about her written by Allison Sherry.
This prominent background fact was not exactly hidden from view. Ms Sherry could have googled the woman in question, Rebekah Erler, and found a Reuters artcle from last June that pointed out her connection to Democrat Senator Patty Murray as a field organizer as well as a Minnesota Republican press release of that month revealing the same information. However, not to spoil the Sherry's carefully crafted story that oh so conveniently neglected to mention you know what, cue up the violins as we read about the travails of a "regular" struggling woman:

Over 300 million people in this country and Obama somehow couldn’t find a supposed personal story to feature that didn’t belong to a Democrat operative?
There are people out there who are still 100% behind Obama. I hear them talking in the Walmart line sometimes. However, those people are probably not the marketable face the Eternal Campaign is looking for.
Yeah, I’ve seen pics of those Walmart folks online. However, I would LOVE to see one featured next to Moochell at next SOTU.
Well, you’ve got to get your props wherever you can.
We’ve seen the Obama administration do this over and over —they gin up some sob story about some poor working class family or mother who can’t get by on their wages, and they all turn out to Dem operatives. Then the press dutifully and without question passes the story along without any mention that the person is a plant. If these people aren’t plants, then Dem operatives are uniformly horrible at managing their personal finances.
People who have never in their whole lives had any concept other than being supported by the public ... with plenty of money for hairdos, nails, and tattoos.
I don’t hear anything positive about Obama in the gym, not even from black people.

Just like the white coated “doctors” in a While House photo op for Obamacare were just shills. Obama STOTU speech was a Potemkin village.
There is NO WAY this would have not been brought out by the media if it involved Republicans.
You think whoever owns The One would trust an unvetted peon to be featured on His camera during His speech?
They need someone with full devotion to the party.
How do they get such a well behaved crowd, cheering at all the right places? Does the SEIU bus them in? I suspect their handlers have Tec-9s aimed at them. (Uzis would be not politically correct.)
Star & Tribune was known way back in the 1970’s when I first started reading their paper as the Red Star & Tribune.
I remember it well from our 16 years up north.
