Had they not died as part of the Charlie Hebdo killers' final act, I wonder how much publicity the murders of Philippe Braham, Yohan Cohen, Yoav Hattab, and François-Michel Saada at a kosher grocery store would have attracted. An Islamic fanatic killed another quartet of Jews at the Jewish Museum in Brussels last spring, and it was a big story for a couple of days, and then faded away. Over the last decade, the Continent seems to have developed a certain psychological ease with the routine murder of Jews. What remains of Jewish communal life in Europe now takes place behind reinforced doors and barbed wire, and the actual extinction of an entire identity group's presence is discussed as calmly as the long-range weather. Forty-five per cent of British Jews say Jews have no future in Britain, and 58 per cent says Jews have no future in Europe.
European leaders like M Hollande insist they're able to protect the Jewish community - or at least hold the remorseless picking-off of their members to manageable levels. The leader of the continent's biggest Jewish group is disinclined to take such assurances:
In a letter sent to interior ministries around Europe and obtained by Newsweek, Rabbi Menachem Margolin, director general of the Rabbinical Centre of Europe (RCE) and the European Jewish Association (EJA) - the largest federation of Jewish organizations and communities in Europe - writes: "We hereby ask that gun licensing laws are reviewed with immediate effect to allow designated people in the Jewish communities and institutions to own weapons for the essential protection of their communities, as well as receiving the necessary training to protect their members from potential terror attacks."

Maybe they will turn Europe into a desert and all of a sudden people will realize that, like the Soviet Union, the real cause of pollution and global warming is the muslim religion.
Maybe some day the Jews will realize that it is the Left wing socialists that enable the killing of Jews and they will start to vote conservatives into office that will put an end to this.

Socialist - and we know National Socialist - care nothing for the Jewish people...I hate to be so 50-50 on this...but it is either true freedom and the protections that come with it - or one or more elements will have to be totally removed before the killing stops...it is mass murder perpetrated over time.
Either the socialist govt’s are removed and the ending of islmaic immigration not only halted into Europe, but a systematic returning of said followers to their respective countries. If not this, then the Jewish people must vacate Europe.
Perhaps the socialist are trying to have their cake and cherry on top as well. I truly believe that the jihadis are being used, they know it and are countering with massive amounts of births to consolidate their power in the original host European country which they reside. The jihadis are the catalyst that will allow European nations to once again enter the Middle East under the pretext of eradicating “radical forms” of islam in order to seize a very vital product.
Somewhere in all this there is either a benefit or curse. The Jewish people may return to Israel and in time the European colonies will return and benefit the region with peace - or there will be a replay of events that started in the 1920’s with the Arab uprising and violence...perhaps this is the long term solution that the Nazis sought - but allowing the Arabs to do it once the jihadis are pushed back to Arabia.
Just thinking this through...but it does seem to be playing out this way right now...

Vietnam Vet - I served with a couple of Vietnam Vet’s while in Iraq...a Master Sgt that was still in the Reserves...and later on a K9 operator with Blackwater...great guys...had a lot of information to share on insurgencies.

I will check it out.I have paid a lot of attention to Islam for half a century because I lived in Istanbul for much of my preteen youth. I used to defend Turkiye on these boards because I remember the Turks being very appreciative of Americans in the 50s and I know there was a lot of slandering of of the country due to the enormities of the Sultanate and even a lot of that was misdirected. It was with reluctance that I went from staunch defender of the Republic to being skeptical of the Islamifying Turkish State. When Erdogan came along he did what Obama and to a lesser extent Carter and Clinton have done to the USA. He purged the Army and the courts which had been staunch defenders of the secular Republic before he could safely Islamify the nation. The Army has a Constitutional duty to defend and ensure the Republic and it removed the government, once due to the Islamic nature of the regime and once due to Communists having got control, on two occasions after the 50s and received a lot of opprobrium from Europe and the USA for those “undemocratic” actions, but the Army did what Mustafa had designed in the Constitution. Now, as is happening even now in the USA, the Constitution is a dead letter.

The US must stand....I’ve said it many times on my clearance interviews that I took an oath to defend and protect the US Constitution - I’m not loyal to any president!

Hence, who would care for the rights of ‘Jews”?
Europe—through the Holocaust— has exchanged a peaceful, productive minority for a pack of muzzie leaches; who take rather than give or produce, and hate virtually everybody BUT themselves (when the are not fighting each other, natch.)
