Praying With A Muslim Colleague Ruined My Career, Says Christian NHS Worker
Claims by Christian NHS worker that she was discriminated against on religious grounds after saying a prayer for a Muslim colleague come during a tense period in relations between Islam and other faiths, following the Paris terrorist attacks

Victoria Wasteney put her hand on her friend’s knee and, asking if she could pray for her, said simply: “God, I trust You will bring peace and You will bring healing.”
So when Miss Wasteney was later suspended by the NHS from her position as a senior occupational health therapist for having prayed with her colleague, she was left distraught and angry.
The problem appeared to be that Miss Wasteney is a Christian and her colleague was Muslim. And her employer – a health authority in one of Britain’s most ethnically mixed areas – deemed her behaviour to be a case of harassment and bullying.
Miss Wasteney, 37, from Buckhurst Hill, Essex, had earlier lent the colleague – who was going through health problems and personal issues at home – a book about a Muslim woman who converts to Christianity, and also invited her to a number of events organised by her church, including a community sports day and an anti-human trafficking meeting.
East London NHS Foundation Trust suspended her for nine months on full pay.
But on Tuesday Miss Wasteney, who describes openly herself as a 'born-again Christian’, begins a legal challenge against the trust, claiming it discriminated against her on grounds of religion and that it infringed her rights under the European Convention on Human Rights.

More to the point, Muslims are free to do daw’wa on us but we can’t convert to them to our faith.
This is simply more special treatment on behalf of Islam.

I’ll pray with any legit Catholic , Protestant, or Jewish people - all pray to the one true God as best they know how. More controversially, I will even share blessings or whatever with Buddhists and some others who do not know the God of Abraham, isaac, and Jacob but who are not trying to attack Christian faith or murder Christians and Jews for our faith. I cannot see any justification for sharing prayers with a Moslem when their teaching and their practice around the world is to destroy churches and synagogues , kill ( even crucify now) Christians and Jews, and actually try to evrn deny the known, proven aspects of Biblical history . You rely can’t pray to God and Satan at the same time.

Scratching head here... If her suspension was intended to be a penalty, 9 month paid vacation does not seem to be the right way to go about it.
I guess I am just too stupid to understand the intricacies of Government bureaucracies. Or just maybe, those bureaucracies are just stupid to figure out common sense.

and if they continue to give us trouble nuke mecca and watch hundreds of millions of muslims break down b/c how could allah allow that!?!
When the first (Muslim) nuclear bomb explodes over Jerusalem, the second and third will explode over Mecca and Medina. (Too long a trip? The pilots will volunteer to walk back.)
so lesson is never befriend a muslim on the job they may try to get you fired if they ask you to pray for them.
