UFOs [drones] spotted over nuclear plants in France and Belgium

The French government is on high alert due to a large amount of UFO sightings over nuclear power plants since October, 2014. The latest sighting in France was just last week, and witnesses in Belgium spotted one in December. Most media outlets suspect that the objects are drones, but not all of the witnesses are convinced. If they are drones, the authorities say they do not know who they belong to.

According to Austrian news site ORF.at, there were 18 separate occasions UFOs were seen flying over nuclear power plants in France between early October and early November. They say authorities suspect it is the coordinated effort of an unknown group.

ORF.at says the sightings have sparked a debate over nuclear power plant security. Greenpeace has accused the French government of downplaying the danger of these unknown over flights.

The latest incident was announced on January 3, 2015. The nuclear power plant in Nogent-sur-Seine, southeast of Paris, says two security guards saw “two flying objects.”

Those things operate via radio, usually in a pretty narrow spectrum and at low power. Jamming the signals should be pretty darned easy, and tracking the controller should also be quite simple.

With all the sig-int technology available to the gobmint....why don't they set up a RF DF (radio frequency direction finding for those in Rio Vista) at each Nuc plant and pin point the control location....swat team arrives pronto.

On my dashcam this morning, I caught one of the UFOs flying toward the reactor. It was flying east(France is east of me), very supersonic.

It could be a meteor, I’m sticking with UFO.

“.why don’t they set up a RF DF “

That could work, but the difference between a “drone” and an RPV is that a drone is able to be programmed to perform a mission without operator input. Military drones tend to operate on some combination of autonomous and remote control. A mission involving going to a grid coordinate, and taking a bunch of pictures could easily be done autonomously. And drones don’t need to be just for governments any more the technology has gotten to a point where it’s not that hard to build a drone, some people do it just for fun.

If they are drones, the authorities say they do not know who they belong to.

Just Mohammedans looking to see if the white flags have been run up the pole yet.

I believe that the new models have built in GPS restrictions on height (under 500’) and sensitive areas like airports etc will prevent flying.

The makers of the popular Phantom series has the newer more capable Inspire Quadcopter with a built in stabilized camera system and dual control units, and the GPS restrictions.

Well the end of human life on earth will be probably be achieved by one of two things. The rapture... Or the melting down of multiple nuclear power plants. If any mad terrorist would like to destroy mankind then nuclear power is the place to concentrate.
