Virginia’s 74th state district reelected Joe Morrissey to the House of Delegates in a special election held on Tuesday. He celebrated his victory from a jail cell.
Morrissey resigned from the seat last December after he was convicted for having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old employee at his law office.

When the Free Lance-Star newspaper of Fredericksburg VA ran the original story of his conviction, they never gave his party affiliation. They didn’t just leave it out of the lead paragraph, but the entire story.
Another glowing example of how state legislators are sooooo much better than their federal counterparts, and will magically send nothing but Henry Clay type statesmen to government if we let them appoint whoever they want.
Typical Democrat. Typical Democrat voters. Scum.
And probably win, overwhelmingly.

When it comes to politicians, the DemocRATS don’t set very high standards. They’ll take a crook, bimbo or sexual deviant every time. All you have to do is promise the low information DemocRAT voters some more free stuff and you’ve got their vote.
In current times, there's the LIV that doesn't know better/couldn't care less, and the LSM that buries 99.44% of negatives about Dems, while hyper-hyping the false/minor/youthful indiscretions of those that aren't "them".
And DemocRats will support him.

....Especially being in jail for screwing a 17 year old girl.
(had it been a 17 year old boy he probably could have run for a higher office)
