Voters were apparently unmoved by Morrissey’s plea last month on a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, which stemmed from his relationship with a 17-year-old receptionist at his law office. The 57-year-old lawmaker maintained his innocence while entering a guilty plea to avoid a possible conviction on felony charges.
Reminder, the new season of “Sunny” starts tonight.
The show after it looks like it might be worth watching.
Plead no contest to “contributing to the delinquency of a minor”. Sounds like a consensual relationship with a 17 year old girl (age of consent in VA is 18), got her pregnant.
Absurd to call him a “child molester”.
Adding to the bizarre, the girl (now 18) says she didn’t sleep with him, the accusations came from her dad. And yet “evidence” was found and he plead no contest.

I won’t pretend to know what the hell really went on but if this guy were an insurance salesman instead of a State Del I doubt the case would have been pursued.
But people will read this headline and assume he raped a little boy and was reelected, sigh.
