“US ‘at war’ with ‘lone wolf’ terrorists, attorney general says in Paris”

Speaking to NBC from Paris, where he was attending a counter-terrorism summit and the march, Holder said: “That is the thing that I think keeps me up most at night, this concern about the lone wolf who goes undetected.” Questioned by CNN about how the Paris attackers were known to authorities but still managed to act, he said such people “float under the radar screens”.
“I certainly think we are at war with those who would commit terrorist attacks and corrupt the Islamic faith to try to justify their terrorist actions,” he told ABC during a tour of Sunday talk shows as he led the Obama administration’s response to the attacks. “That’s who we are at war with and we are determined to take the fight to them.”
The White House said on Sunday it will host a conference on anti-extremism on 18 February. Holder said: “We will bring together all of our allies to discuss ways in which we can counteract this violent extremism that exists around the world.”
Speaking to CNN, Holder said: “We’re horrified by what happened and we express our condolences to the French people. What we saw in France over the course of this last week is unfortunately what we’re going to have to confront into the future.
“We have seen these kinds of attacks or attempts to have these kinds of attacks certainly in the United States, in the United Kingdom, we’ve seen this in Nairobi, in Australia and in Canada. This is the nature of the new threat that we must confront. We can I think successfully confront it if we share information in a way that we perhaps have not in the past.”

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, British Prime Minister David Cameron and Italy Prime Minister Matteo Renzi were among 44 foreign leaders marching with Hollande. U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu - who earlier encouraged French Jews to emigrate to Israel - and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas were also present.
Immediately to Hollande’s left, walked Merkel and to his right Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita. France has provided troops to help fight Islamist rebels there.
Meanwhile, Blarney Obama is headed to Iowa to speak about his plan to mess up the Internet. Hmmm, let’s see, which is more important - messing up the Internet or showing the world the US is really in with battling Islamic terrorism? Well, this is an easy question. Under Blarney we’re NOT into fighting Islamic terrorism, and another campaign speech, regardless of its utterly ridiculous main theme, is Blarney’s bread and butter.

I assume he is the muslim leader of Mali, home to the terrorist who shot up the Kosher shop.
He was being interviewed by CNN, a fluff piece as usual, instead of marching against Islamic terrorism. This was a shameful day for the USA.
Damn! That makes me so happy. There will be no decisions made until after the end of the first term of the next President if the Keystone deliberations are anything to do with it. It's a typical bureaucratic move - "Let's have a meeting" - doing anything useful be damned. Once again the Administration proves that it is made up of low level functionaries and not leaders. Sophomoric radical idealists with no real world capabilities, with Obozo at the front, but definitely not leading.
Speaking of which. What are the odds that the guns the “activists” used were from Holder’s Fast & Furious operation?

Bernard Henri Levy ( I think that is his name) was on CNN was so delighted with Kerry’s speech in solidarity said in French. He traced back the last time someone of note from the US addressed France was Roosevelt circa WWII.

If they wanted a march of international persons in solidarity against terrorism, they ought to send about a thousand legionnaires into the “no go” zones of Paris.
He’s there for one reason....Looking for information to bring back to Obama....wants to know what these folks are saying about him. It’s all about him.
