Once we have done that, though, we need to recognize who the enemy is, and set about to purge our own government of the enemy (now infiltrated to the highest levels).
It is sad, but we fail to recognize the actions of our enemies, even within the Republican Party, as being at the very least aid and comfort to those who are working tirelessly to bring this country down, from changing rules of engagement to make our troops less effective in the field, to abandoning billions of dollars worth of equipment and materiel to our enemies, to weakening our military, cutting the budget for Constitutional duties of the Federal Government while ceaselessly meddling in sectors which the Government should have no say in, to idling our work force through environmental policy, to impoverishing our nation by printing trillions in fiat currency and debt, to aiding people in breaking our laws against illegal immigration, to even meddling in the nutrition our children receive in their formative years.
The list goes on, but by their fruits shall ye know them. In every way possible, they seek to weaken and destroy all that has made America great.
We tend to think of certain characters as spineless without even considering they are wolves in sheep's clothing, enemies claiming to be with us in the battle to keep America great, who for whatever reason have turned coat on their birthright and sided with those who seek our destruction.
Call them "compromised", but "traitor" fits.
We have been so browbeat by political correctness we lack the guts to call them what they are, or even consider that they lurk among us, among the highest levels of alleged opposition to our enemies, subverting the efforts which would salvage America, and continuing to inflict damage wherever and whenever possible. We even make excuses for them and proclaim them better than those who openly stand against us.
America, wake up!!
