"This is about judgement" Mayor Kasim Reed stated during the news conference Tuesday. "This is not about religious freedom, this is not about free speech" Reed said. "Judgement is the basis of the problem" Reed commented."
BS - this is flat out religious discrimination. Straight up.

You know who is in control by who you are not allowed to criticize.

...will not tolerate discrimination within his administration. I'll bet he cannot name a single instance of ACTUAL discrimination against a firefighter by Chief Cochran.

I don’t see anything controversial about them.
And how does his ‘judgement’ in his job performance get affected by his personal views on other topics?
Did he ever show poor judgement in his job? Or just in the view of this moron who heard the views expressed according his freedom of speech?
There is no freedom of speech if you cannot say your personal opinions whatever you want (except for yelling fire in a crowded building)

“And he demonstrated terrible judgment in discussing his Christian faith.”
Oh, and by the way... if you didn’t guess, Kasim Reed’s full name is Mohammed Kasim Reed.

The war has begun...I applaud the fire chief who despite his suspension reaffirmed his support for traditional firing. As for the Mayor...he is “an antichrist”!

" Mohammed Kasim Reed." Yep, taquyya in action. And the homo community (no pun intended) sucks it up. Since the gays and the muzzrats share a common hatred of all things Judeo-Christian and Western, is it any wonder why the LGBT/FUBAR community wants to "make nice" with the islimests. It's all based on the flawed assumption that an enemy of my enemy is my friend. And we all know what happens when we ASS-U-ME.

Why should the Muzzie mayor be offended?
Muslims do not endorse homosexuality either.

"This is not about religious freedom, this is not about free speech" Reed said.To paraphrase that Princess Bride guy: 'I don't think those words mean what you think they mean'.
This was entirely about Religious Freedom and Free Speech. 'No' to those who follow Christ, and 'No' to those who would speak out against sinful behavior.

It’s like the Muzzie’s are ‘using’ the gay movement to destroy America, cause in the end Muslims will kill all gays too.
Gays love to be used as tools especially themselves.

So is Cocran now a former lib? Liberalism cost him his job. I’d be interested to know.
To: Impala64ssa
Look at that sorry excuse for a mayor getting all butthurt.
The Chief cleared with the ethics desk and STILL is getting canned? Man alive, that sounds like a slam dunk lawsuit for wrongful termination.

The book also made strong statements towards the treatment of women, Reed noted. Doctors in hospitals make strong statements towards the treatment of women every single day. If Mr. Mohammed Kasim Reed meant something else then perhaps he should have said it. Or, maybe, he is afraid that he'll be sued for defamation?
