A female aid worker from Sierra Leone has become the first person to bring Ebola to the United Kingdom, BBC News reports Monday night, and is in isolation in a Glasgow hospital.
The aid worker, whose identity is being kept under wraps, had arrived in Glasgow via Casablanca and London's Heathrow airport, and arrived in Scotland Sunday night close to midnight. Less than eight hours later, she was admitted to Glasgow's Gartnavel Hospital with symptoms.
She will be transferred to a high-level isolation unit in London's Royal Free Hospital as soon as possible for further treatment, officials said.
71 passengers from the Heathrow-Glasgow flight have been told to contact British Airways representatives if they experience any symptoms, according to the Daily Mail.

Simple solution.....ban ALL travel to countries with the outbreak
All travel to the UK and US, both of which have had cases? I don’t think that’s even possible. To and from Sierra Leone and Liberia? OK. They’re in Africa anyway, so nobody gives a damn.
Maybe blood donated by a gay person will magically cure it, and Ebola-infested blood cures aids? Wouldn’t that be a kick in the head.
There is NO outbreak of ebola in the US or the UK....all cases in the US and the UK have been contracted in Africa in countries which HAVE OUTBREAKS.....use some logic here

That is what an outbreak is....If a travel ban to SIerra Leone, Liberia, and any other country where cases of ebola were occurring since March there would have been ZERO cases anywhere in the US or the UK.
Quarantine is still an effective technique for dealing with disease

I don’t know what the technical medical definition of the term “outbreak” is; however, your statement above is incorrect; as the 2 nurses in Dallas contracted Ebola here in the U.S. while treating an West African patient. There was also the nurse in Spain who contracted Ebola under similar conditions while treating a priest who had contracted the disease in West Africa.
That said, excluding health care workers, there have been no known cases of Ebola Zaire infection amongst the general public outside of the African continent; which, I believe is the point you were trying to make.

The nurses in the US contracted from someone who got it in AFRICA.....had he been honest or had there been a travel ban he would NOT have been in the US and the nurses would have never contracted ebola. Pay attention....the US does NOT have an ebola outbreak Africa does
