I wish I knew where the economy will be heading next year. If I did, I might become rich. But, alas, I dont and even if we dont always acknowledge it, no economists do.
The unemployment rate stands at 5.8 percent. If it continues on its current trajectory, it will have fallen an additional half a percentage point by mid-2015, putting it at a level that some economists see as effectively full employment.

Yeah. Right.
“The votes don’t matter, it only matters who counts the votes”
Filled up the old jalopy for less than 20 bucks last week.
I remember the last time I did that I was just a kid.
They sure are pimping the “everyone is optimistic about 2015” BS.
They turned on Obammie the Commie to shine the light on Hillary just a bit too soon and no one is buying her snakeoil.
So now they need to shine the light back on Obammie the Commie for at least the next three quarters, as a sort of, “You wanted hope and change. You got the change and it’s been great? Right? Now you have hope? You want more hope and change? Vote for Liawatha Warren!”
The DemocRats and their stenographers in the MSM are disgusting traitors.
If obamanomics continues along the same trajectory, it shouldn’t be too long before unemployment falls into negative numbers, and we’ll have more people employed than actually exist.
Ref your tagline. Years ago I auditioned for a voice over for the Texas Department of Tourism. The line was “Texas, it’s like a hole other country”. I said “Texas, it’s like a whole ‘nother country”. I tried to explain that the phrase was simply inserting the word “whole” in the middle of the word “another”. I didn’t get the gig.
Yes, it’s easy for us to speak Texan, but writing it down is bit harder. I think I’ll change it to “Texas, it’s like a whole ‘nother country”. Thanks.
Sorry you did not get your gig. You probably tangled with one those media liberals hiding out down there in Austin.
BTW, you’re the first to comment on my tagline.
Employment is way up.
But it’s 29ers or less.
I actually think the stats (as they are scored) are fairly legit now since no distinction between part timers and full.
Local businesses have help wanted signs all over the place now for $8/hr part timers.
Well, I learned you don’t try to re-write the script at the audition. The ad ran for years with various people saying it their way.
