Hmmm. Probably usher in the new ice age with a lot of fanfare huh? I have an idea. All the warmunists could do us all a favor and remove themselves from the equation. After all, it's for the betterment of the planet. That would be really noble of them.

It’s seems easy for those who are so concerned to just sacrifice themselves to save Gaia. Problem solved.

John Holdren SCIENCE adviser?!?!?!?!

Doesn't this dimwit know that everything you do makes CO2.
You would have to kill everything on the planet to make CO2 close to zero.

Someone should really make a rule against the inmates running the asylum

They can start by turning off those CO2-producing engines on Air Force One while over the ocean one night.

No...it won't be easy. It will be impossible. Is this mind-numbingly moronic idiot planning on turning off or draining the oceans? They alone are responsible for releasing more CO2 than all man's actions have emitted.

The EXEMPT will not be first.

They will kill the non-EXEMPT by ObamaCARE (no medicine)
and the diseases they are importing DAILY and covering
up (eg. Ebola).

It is rather baffling that these supposed brilliant folks don’t seem to understand that warmer is better then a whole new sheet of ice 1000 feet thick advancing. THEN you got a problem. Simply ask them to do the following:

1. Define the “correct” temperature range for the planet.

2. Define the “correct” humidity range for the planet.

3. Define the “correct” mean sea level for the planet’

4. Define the “correct” amount of precipitation for the planet.

5. Define the “correct” makeup of the atmosphere.

6. Define the “correct” amount of sea ice at the N/S poles.

7. Define/explain past glaciation and subsequent warming without any input from humans.

WH Science adviser hates plants, wants to choke them out by 2100 by cutting their CO2 intake.

Then there is beer and all distilled spirits. It seems to me they are going to outlaw beer, beer that is a positive CO2 emitter, every glass and pitcher

It is entirely theoretically possible to eliminate net CO2 emissions. Just stop using fossil fuels.

Now doing this abruptly would probably result in the deaths of a large perecentage of the world’s population. Half or more. The survivors would continue on at a much lower economic level.

However, there are at least two technologies that at least in theory would allow us to continue developing economically while abandoning fossil fuels: space-based solar power and enormously expanded nuclear energy usage.

Either of these could within a few decades provide adequate energy without using fossil fuels.

Not proposing any of this or claiming that it’s either economically feasible or desirable for other reasons. Only that fossil fuels are NOT in theory the only way to power a modern economy into the future.

Gentleman is not proposing CO2 be reduced to zero. Only that we stop those things, primarily burning of fossil fuels, that lead to a constant increase in CO2 concentrations. If we stopped burning fossil fuels, this increase would slow down and eventually stop.

CO2 in oceans comes and goes. It doesn’t add to the total CO2 in the ecosystem. Burning fossil fuels does.
