It says the guy “signed in to visit.” Why didn’t someone ask him at the time whether he was there for a visit or simply to massacre some students. It would have saved people a lot of trouble.

but same said school will take a school wide field trip to a mosque and pretend to be moslem for a week...they find no fault in that...but look at a soldier who wants to share the joy of being in the military as a threat...makes one question the sanity of those in charge of the school to correctly identify the REAL threat...

I am speechless at the stupidity.
But I must say, there are people within the school systems (most of whom are leftists, but obviously not all) who would see a man in fatigues, bloused trousers, squared away fatigue cap, and immediately think “Trouble”.
Most NORMAL people would see this and think “Active Service”.
I remember coming home after boot camp and going to a girl friend’s high school to see her, which is probably what happened here. I guess nowadays you have to consider yourself fortunate if you aren’t maced, tazed and cuffed.
They were all in the safe room, or sheltering in place under their desks.
It’s emotional immaturity. America’s schools are loaded with emotionally immature adults.
Yes. What is an “authorized” reason? For someone who has been in the service and wants to return to visit teachers and school friends and is proud enough of what he is doing to wear his uniform?
I re-read the article, and it made me angrier the second time around. Liberal lunacy.
I don't know how others feel about this, but having our military planning at any time to have a "shelter in place" action be used by members of the armed forces just seems wrong to me. Just plain wrong.
I know why it is there and why it is the SOP, but it seems wrong. And troubling.
