Well. What a coincidence.
As Americans depart for the Christmas holiday, the horrifying news of what the New York Police Commissioner Bill Bratton correctly calls the “assassination” of two New York police officers, the Scrooges in the GOP Establishment have busied themselves attacking Ted Cruz and Mike Lee.
Not once. Not twice. But three times in three different places.
Up there in the Boston Globe, former New Hampshire Republican Senator John Sununu (not to be confused with his ex-governor father) has launched an attack on Texas Senator Cruz.
Out in Utah, former Utah Republican Senator Robert Bennett is in print in Salt Lake City’s Deseret News going after Cruz.
And in Politico, which has become the go-to place for Establishment GOP types to vent their spleens against the GOP base, Jon Huntsman Sr., the zillionaire father of ex-Utah GOP Governor Jon Huntsman, lashed out against Utah Senator Mike Lee, promising a primary challenge.
I believe in Santa Clause. Really. But the Tooth Fairy? The kind of political coincidence that has three different articles – two by defeated GOP senators, one of them defeated by now-Senator Lee? The third focusing on comments by the guy who is the father of the man who established himself as Barack Obama’s favorite GOP presidential candidate in 2012 – after Huntsman the younger resigned as Obama’s Ambassador to China? Coincidence? Really? Really?
What we are seeing here is the opening round in the next two years’ worth of assaults on Reagan Republicans by status quo Ford/Bush Republicans. These are the representatives of what Reagan used to call the “fraternal order” Republicans, the people who prefer for reasons as much social as political to advocate for the Democrat-lite position that has wound up over the decades proving itself to be both a governmental and political disaster.

They are being exposed as charlatans, and they don’t like it. Therefore, they want to defeat those that are shining the light on their phony games and votes (the rule in the House, Cloture in the Senate, being on both sides, pretending to be conservative at election time, then back to moderate once safely reelected. Witness Mike Enzi and Pat Roberts).
If they don’t destroy, their power will crumble. They want to keep the people thinking that they are an alternative to the democrats, but they sing the same song.

They successfully co-owner Paul. They have been unable to do that with Cruz and Lee, and they fear them gaining followers.
We must not allow them to do this, at any cost. All the money we can afford and every vote we can dig up must go to support these guys. I fear if it happens just one more time we will be finished.
I think it is somewhat humorous that the GOP elite thinks they won the elections in 2014 because people like them.
Oh boy, are they in for a rude awakening in 2016.
In two years the few actual conservative republicans, such as Lee and Cruz, will be (even more) wildly popular for actually standing up to the ever increasing insanity of little bammy.
RINO GOPe wanna-be challengers will go the way of the McCains and Romneys of the world.
Ironically, it will be the non-stop three ring nut circus of the bammy administration that will provide the vehicle for conservatives like Lee and Cruz to expand their personal base of voters further into non-traditional demographics.
They simply continue a steady opposition to the communist agenda Eos, EAs, memos and directives, budget atrocities, executive privileges and scandals.
Should not be a problem, little bammy just can’t help himself and will continue to double and triple down.

Now that conservatives put them in power, it’s time for them to be destroyed while the GOPe consolidates its own power.

If they went after Democrats the way they go after conservatives, they probably would have won the 2012 election. They only take their gloves off when a conservative speaks out.
