Rangel wants end to finger-pointing (“Policemen have to know that we love them”)

Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) said Tuesday that political mudslinging had “no place” after the murder of two New York police officers.

“Pointing fingers has no place at all with civilized people,” he said.

It’s the second day on a row that Rangel has urged people to stop criticizing New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and other politicians over the killings. In the hours after the murder, the head of the city's largest law enforcement union suggested that de Blasio had “blood” on his hands.

Rangel also said that it was important that all New Yorkers communicate their respect for the police as the force grapples with the loss of two of its employees

“Policemen have to know that we love them,” he said.

“They have to know when we get [ticked] off over some lack of communication with them that we're going to speak up and we're going to protest, but it doesn't mean that when we lose one of the family that we don't feel that pain,” he said.

Rangel also said that it would be important to understand how the killer, Ismaaiyl Brinsley, was able to obtain a gun despite a history of criminal convictions.

That echoed his Monday comments that police unions should be using their platform to push for greater gun control that could stop someone like Brinsley from obtaining a firearm.

Brinsley allegedly shot himself after killing the two police officers in an ambush-like attack.

I herd something on the radio yesterday about Charlie Rangel’s past involvement with another case of cop killing. Surprised I never heard of it before.

“Don’t make it political”

” police unions should be using their platform to push for greater gun control”

What an asshole.

1972 Harlem mosque incident ... However, before (accused cop killer) Dupree could be taken into custody, Louis Farrakhan and Congressman Charles B. Rangel arrived at the scene, threatening a riot if Dupree was not released http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1972_Harlem_mosque_incident

These hypocrites are running over each other as they backpedal in high gear.

A week ago they were cheering with the crowds who yelled “What do we want? Dead Cops. When do we want it? Now!”

Well they got their dead cops and now they are running for the hills in reverse.

They want to shut down the conversation because the conversation turned ugly on them.

FLASHBACK:

http://nypost.com/2009/05/31/rangels-sick-joke/

May 31, 2009

There’s nothing like a tragic police shooting to bring a tasteless guffaw out of Rep. Charlie Rangel.

Speaking yesterday at a rally in honor of slain cop Omar Edwards — gunned down by a fellow cop in a case of mistaken identity — the embattled congressman outrageously quipped that President Obama, in town for a date with First Lady Michelle, should watch his back walking around the Big Apple because he is black.

“Make certain he doesn’t run around East Harlem unidentified,” the controversial lawmaker snarked.

“If [he] did not have the Secret Service . . . around him, [city cops] wouldn’t know if he was president of the United States.”

(snip)

Oh so you want us to stop pointing fingers at your buddies when they’re guilty of urging your Muslim buddies to do your bidding eh? We know your “friends” are damn sure going to point yours towards us at whenever it suits your needs. But I though you believed in “fairness”? Oh only when it’s to your advantage. Yeah I get it...

Rangel, you hypocritical SOB, New Yorkers should string you up from a streetlight. NO ONE has greater culpability than you for the racial violence that has torn New York and the country apart for the past few months.

Please, as a favor to the country and as penance for your many sins, consider going on YouTube and blowing your brains out.

Hate to break it to you Rangel but felons buy guns on the street every single day and it’s illegal. Of ourselves politicians like him and 0 want the public disarmed so they can’t defend themselves. The 2nd ammendnent was put there by men of great wisdom and understanding. They knew that men like you would come along in the future because people never change no matter what the time period is.

Brooklyn onlookers cheered N.Y. cop killings at murder scene: ‘They deserved it’

By Jessica Chasmar - The Washington Times - Monday, December 22, 2014

Gathering onlookers reportedly cheered and chanted “[expletive] the police” near the Brooklyn crime scene where two New York Police Department officers were fatally shot Saturday.

“A lot of people were clapping and laughing,” Brooklyn resident Carlos, who would not give his last name, told The Daily Beast. A reporter with the website confirmed he, too, heard the anti-police chants.

“Some were saying, ‘They deserved it,’ and another was shouting at the cops, ‘Serves them right because you mistreat people!’ “ Carlos said.

“You’re a bunch of killers,” an angry passerby said to police officers standing across from Woodhull Hospital, where Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were taken after being killed, The Daily Beast reported. A makeshift memorial was erected there for the fallen officers.

Just, WOW.

The narrative of the left is DO NOT CRITICIZE THOSE WHO CALL FOR DEAD COPS.

THAT is political mudslinging. Political mudslinging is NOT calling for dead cops, NO NO NO. It is the CRITICISM of those who call for dead cops that is to be abhorred.

Charlie Rangel is such a nagger. He should stop nagging everyone.
