Not a vanity post here but a question for the general audience.
Remember all those over the top reports of ISIS/ISIL & their marches in Iraq,etc...? It was reported about 5 weeks ago they were on the outskirts of B'dad.
Haven't a peep out of press on their supposed foray into Bagdad and take-over of the Green Zone.
And as a reminder there are refugees still on Mt. Sinjar and it's not going well at all.
Yahoo news?
meh
“Officials said roughly 8,000 Kurdish peshmerga troops, aided by U.S.-led coalition airstrikes, on Thursday recaptured a large amount of territory and lifted the lengthy siege of Mount Sinjar.”
I guess Allah didn’t will it to be...IS is failing - but not fast enough...

ty for posting your links but I would have preferred some type of comment from you if you are aware of anything other than these links. ty again
to me it’s odd & irregular ISIS has not stormed the Green Zone . methinks there’s a news blackout
the third one on the list is really good...
Per IS - once they are gone - the Persians will continue their march and the Sunni nations will find another counter to that to fund and rise up...there is no loyalty in that region - no sense of nation - just control...but their messenger and the tribal roots that were brought into the 21st Century are major elements of why this violence continues...destroy the tribal culture, Islam falls...
It seems Wash DC politicians are buying time on the Christian communities that are surrounded by moslem majorities...reasoning has it to be many factors...what the end goal could be is anyone’s guess right now...but safe it to say, it won’t be good in the end...
I have to disagree with you on exterminating tribal culture.
more l8r
i’m going to bed\\
i’ll get back to you l8r today
thanks for your reply
