A perfect candidate for the sympathy of the Left and the Justice Department. Buut maybe it is a bridge too far and they are all scrambling to get back to the lines?
Every one of these statements is qualified in some way.
However most of the offer cursory condemnations while launching into language promoting their own causes. Some of which draw a disgusting false equivilency between the dead cops and Brown/Garner.
Never let a crisis go to waste, right?
The intention is not to expand police power, it is to keep winning elections. Police power comes from holding the executive, and for political purposes it doesnt matter if the police arrest people politely or not, or if they are equipped with nightsticks and revolvers, or machine guns.
Power is the ability to threaten people with fines, judgements, prison, unemployment, or ruined careers.
The details of the grunt work to enforce this isn’t important.
Will any of these cowards attempt to call the murdered officers’ families or attend their funerals as they did for St. Michael’s?
Of course not. They probably fear for their well-being.

I would not have trusted the military to not comply with whatever is given them to do until the recent air strikes in the ME. That seems very like something that was done against the President’s wishes then presented to him as a fait accompli that he had to claim as his own or take a hard political hit for decrying it and ordering a halt.
Obama, DeBlasio, Holder and Sharpton totally own this. For Holder this seems to be the crowning achievement of his career. It’s what he’s been angling for since his University days. As for Sharpton, it’s outrageous that Comcast, a major corporation, is giving him millions of dollars a year to host his racist TV program on MSNBC. If you have Comcast service, you should cancel it and let them know why you are doing it.

The blood of the two slain police officers in New York city is on the hands of Al Sharpton. He promoted the hatred of police as a means to continue his race hustle for which he is very well paid.
