Better let All-Star Al in the game!
It wasn’t enough for the NBA to reach out to the NYPD to prepare for the four-day All-Star festivities in February — the league also had a “straight line of communication” with the Rev. Al Sharpton, a source told The Post.
The league is still hammering out the final details for the Feb. 15 All-Star Game at the Garden, but is planning the “biggest security operation” to date, the source said.
No plans for protests are in the works by Sharpton or his National Action Network.
Sharpton did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Its just money laundering; Sharpton’s handlers are making sure he gets paid. They can’t pay him directly, they arrange some phony “consulting” “work” for him to do.
He owes $4 million to the IRS. He can pay up, do time, or do his masters’ bidding and get paid. Thats an easy choice.

This PC crap is only one of the reasons I don’t watch NBA games until my Mavericks are in the finals.
Nothing like a close game with 5 minutes remaining that takes 30 minutes to play to put me to sleep. STOP all of those dumb timeouts!!! Basketball would be improved with a running game clock like “futball” (soccer) for 90 minutes.
Back to subject... The NBA pandering to the racists like Sharpton, and some of the top players who have also shown themselves to be racists recently, is not conducive to having anything more than an even more narrow viewing audience in the future than what they now have.

Well, they are both from Chicago. Prolly a long-time feud going on that started years ago because of Chicago politics or competitiveness between Obama and Jesse Jr. or something.
