D.C. Considers Bill That Could Force Pro-Life Organizations to Pay for Abortion Coverage

oday, the Council of the District of Columbia will consider a bill that could force employers in the nation’s capital to cover elective abortions in their health plans and require even pro-life organizations to hire individuals who oppose their views on abortion.

This latest attempt to violate the freedom of individuals in the District should spur Congress to better protect the conscience rights for all Americans.

The “Reproductive Health Non-Discrimination Act,” would specifically prohibit employers from discriminating in “compensation, terms, conditions or privileges of employment” on the basis of an individual’s “reproductive health decision making” – including the “termination of a pregnancy.”

In light of comments made by Councilmember David Grosso at a hearing on the bill earlier this year, the D.C. legislation could be interpreted to force even religious and pro-life employers to provide coverage of elective abortions.

The threat against conscience rights is serious for many organizations in D.C. like Americans United for Life, March for Life, Family Research Council and the Archdiocese of Washington, among others. Organizations whose mission is to empower women facing unplanned pregnancies with physical and emotional support or who advocate for policies that affirm the dignity and value of both mother and child in law could be forced to provide health insurance for the life-ending procedure they oppose.

The best way to handle this is refuse to comply!

F these people once and for all!

I am sick of the mantra that good people can disagree on abortion. No they can’t. That is the point. Either they are killing a human or not. There is no grey area. It is time that our leaders where as immobile and arrogant as theirs.

3) insurance for abortion
4) insurance for broken arms
5) headache pills
6) cabbage
7) green beans
8) bricks

“He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Soon we will have have the Mark of the Beast and be forced to comply. The Word is coming true

This might be a good thing. When they pass this bill, you will see direct disobedience of it. It may force the issue to the Supreme Court where it surely would be resolved.

The problem is with the American people they have no moral strength left all that matters is eating, drinking, drugging, copulating, evacuating the bowels, snoring and occasional free tickets to “The Games.” With a philosophy like the aforementioned what is a little baby killing among friends./s/
