Undocumented Immigrants Line Up for Door Opened by Obama [and the GOPe]

LOS ANGELES — They pushed strollers, tugged toddlers and streamed into the convention center in the heart of this city on Sunday, thousands of immigrants here illegally and anxious to find out if they could gain protection from deportation under executive actions by President Obama.

The crowd, waiting in a long snaking line to check in, was drawn by an information session organized by advocacy groups offering people initial assessments to see if they meet the requirements to apply to stay in the country and work. The day became a kind of coming-out party for about 5,000 unauthorized immigrants, the largest gathering in the country of people who might qualify for temporary protection since the president’s announcement last month.

~~snip~~

Immigration advocates convened the information session in downtown Los Angeles not just to give out information but to galvanize their supporters as Republicans, angered by what they see as an illegal power grab by Mr. Obama, say they will seek to halt the programs when they gain control of both houses of Congress next year. Texas was joined by more than 20 other states, most led by Republicans, in filing a lawsuit to stop the president’s actions, arguing he exceeded his constitutional authority.

Hundreds of activist leaders also converged here for a three-day strategy conclave to plot how to enroll a maximum number of people in order to create momentum among immigrants and Latinos so they will defend the president’s actions and try to stop Republicans from canceling the programs before they get off the ground.

DC pulled down their pants and took a steaming dump on us and all we got were massive tax hikes.

If I was a liberal in 2014, I’d be laughing too.

Funny what some people consider ‘winning’ and a ‘lesser evil’. Hope they take pride in having helped destroy America. Because without their direct help, none of this would have been possible.

If they out themselves, future president using executive order could easily find out who they are and deport them

And reminding them of that is the only option we have left.

thats why I feel obama’s executive order was self serving and not out of compassion. If he wanted to do it right, he should’ve gone thru congress. If I was an illegal immigrant, I wouldn’t want this uncertainty hanging over me. One moment I could walk freely, then next I’m deported

Our feelings about illegals aside, if constitutional leaders ever manage to retake DC, they will have any number of legal options to defend immediate deportation from the challenges that will come because of the way this all went down.

There’s no question to me that the libs simply decided to do what they wilt as the whole of the law, Crowley style. They understand that power is only power when it’s used. So they use it however they feel benefits them.

We on the other hand, try playing nice and refuse to apply the tools we have because of fear. We fear that indys will flock to the dems mostly.

Well all the fearmongers have pulled out the ‘peace in our time’ memo one too many times and now the odds of constitutional leaders ever retaking DC are almost zero. Our founders weep. And since the Dems/libs are unafraid to wield power in ways beneficial to them, those gutless cowards can hold up their ‘peace’ letter to the guards loading them onto cattle cards in the not do distant future. I’m sure they will take them into proper consideration.

One would think. But they don’t realize once these illegals become “legal” they become part of the collective bargaining system. Not strictly ‘union’ per se, but they can and will demand more money.

Couple this with this government’s willingness to insert them into the entitlement system as well and you have a new victim group. A group that will demand the same rights and privileges as American Citizens. It won’t be two years before we see full-scale efforts to get them the vote.

They are also determined to keep housing and classrooms occupied; Americans wouldn’t breed a new generation of consumers of these goods/services, so our government (both parties) is complicit in trafficking the new generation from abroad.

I was in a Best Buy yesterday to get a computer part and the ratio appeared to be a 100 to 1 Hispanics over whites and blacks. I noticed that some of them had wads of 100 bills when they checked out. I’m guessing tax free money or no income taxes paid to have wallets stuffed that full. Its been several years now since I was “allowed” to earn money like that and actually been able to keep that much of it.../s

SENATE REPUBLICANS VOTE TO WAIVE THE CONSTITUTION

There is no question that President Obama’s executive amnesty violates the Constitution. Even the president acknowledged back in September that he would be “ignoring the law” to carry out such an action.

U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) raised a constitutional point of order against the $1.1 trillion omnibus spending that, if sustained, would have sent the bill back to the House to remove amnesty funding.

Unfortunately, a group of Republicans joined the Democrats in voting to reject Cruz’s point of order and to ignore the serious constitutional problems with the president’s executive amnesty.

These 20 Republicans voted to waive the Constitution.
Lamar Alexander (R-TN) Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) Orrin Hatch (R-UT)
John Barrasso (R-WY) Dean Heller (R-NV)
Dan Coats (R-IN) Ron Johnson (R-WI)
Thad Cochran (R-MS) Mark Kirk (R-IL)
Susan Collins (R-ME) John McCain (R-AZ)
Bob Corker (R-TN) Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
John Cornyn (R-TX) Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
Mike Enzi (R-WY) Pat Toomey (R-PA)
Jeff Flake (R-AZ) Roger Wicker (R-MS)

After waiving the constitutional point of order, the Senate passed the omnibus bill, which fully funds Obamacare, does nothing to stop the president’s amnesty, and includes an earmark to help the DC establishment defeat conservative challengers.

These 24 Republicans voted for the bill.
Lamar Alexander (R-TN) Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) Orrin Hatch (R-UT)
John Barrasso (R-WY) John Hoeven (R-ND)
Roy Blunt (R-MO) Johnny Isakson (R-GA)
John Boozman (R-AR) Mike Johanns (R-NE)
Richard Burr (R-NC) Mark Kirk (R-IL)
Dan Coats (R-IN) Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
Thad Cochran (R-MS) Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
Susan Collins (R-ME) Pat Roberts (R-KS)
John Cornyn (R-TX) John Thune (R-SD)
Mike Enzi (R-WY) Pat Toomey (R-PA)
Deb Fischer (R-NE) Roger Wicker (R-MS)

NEW RADIO ADS HOLD HOUSE GOP LEADERS ACCOUNTABLE
Grassroots conservatives pledged to donate over $117,000 to run ads against Republican leaders in the House if they voted to fund amnesty. Now, we’re collecting those pledges and using the funds to hold these politicians accountable.

On Friday, we announced three new radio ads in the home districts of House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-LA).

If you want to help us hold these leaders accountable, please make a contribution to Senate Conservatives Action today.

If they don’t pay a price for this betrayal, they will continue to ignore the people who sent them to Washington.

Seems the goal is to create a permanent underclass working for $5/hr or less, in America.

That's $5/hr actual pay for the job, plus maybe $10/hr in welfare benefits. It's cost shifting of labor to the taxpayer.

I can tell you how they do it because I was an eligibility worker and saw it every day. They work under the table for cash then apply for cash aid, food stamps, WIC, Medicaid, etc. for their American born children. That way they actually have to spend 0 dollars on their kids. If American citizens didn’t have to spend any of their hard earned dollars on their kids they’d have a pocketful of hundreds too.

The Dems have no idea. The first fundamental transformation will be the Democrat party. They "will demand the same rights and privileges as American Citizens"...they will want more than that. And corruption will go to the stratosphere. (tagline)

They are not “undocumented immigrants” as the msm loves to state. They are illegal invaders. Our politicians are enabling the destruction of our country. What are we going to do?
