President Barack Obama on Friday urged the Senate to ratify a $1.1 trillion, House-passed spending bill that has roiled his Democratic Party, judging it an imperfect measure that stems from “the divided government that the American people voted for.”

One day after House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi publicly chastised him for supporting the bill, the president said there were provisions “I really do not like.” At the same time, he said there were other portions that “fund health insurance, early childhood education, the fight against climate change and expand manufacturing hubs to grow jobs.” …

Lots of pork for taxpayer-funded votes. It just keeps getting worse.

I wonder how much bribe money Mitch and the other republicans will get for stabbing the voters in the back?

If 0bama endorsed it, that is all the reason needed to vote against it. I truly believe Zer0 is blackmailing Boner and Roberts.

Blackmailing them how? They need no coercion to collude with Obama. Neither are conservatives.

Boner, I don’t know. Roberts changed his vote on the constitutionality of 0bamacare at the last minute. That is what makes me wonder the most. Hope Boner does not get the vote for House Leader this time.

Impeach. Remove from office. Arrest. Convict. Imprison for life....at least.

About the only issue I ‘might’ consider negotiating is where he would spend the rest of his miserable life — GTMO vs Federal prison within our country.

Na, they’re all controlled by Treasury Secretary. This time FDIC backed gambling, due to drying bank loan schemes, and an attempt to round up Mexican squatters, who will quickly find it’s better off not to register into the sewer.

ALL FYI:

The Senate is to hold the procedural vote:

... aimed at clearing the way for passage on Monday.

how about exile : a case from 1800-1805 period.

man was convicted of treason, exiled on a rudderless, de-masted bark anchored several miles offshore with 30 days food and water. He had no means of leaving the ship.

This is a more appropriate punishment.

The ruling class elites in both parties serve the financial class that runs Wall St. That is why no matter who gets elected, the same dinosaurs in both parties ignore the public and make sure that nothing changes. Best investment the guys on Wall St. ever made, for a few million dollars of political contributions they get trillions of dollars of play money to gamble with and if they lose the public gets stuck with the bill. What a scam.

I think there is much to do about nothing with that provision of the omnibus bill. We’ll be bailing out the banks no matter what. Unless they’re broken up into small enough to fail entities, that’s just the new normal.

No, you are wrong.

It is time to work within the Republican party to continue to strengthen the GOPc, the conservative wing. Gains have been made but are unrealized because Dingy Harry Reid effectively took the House out of play

The current flap is mostly for the media play with no real belief that the spending bill will not pass

Reagan could barely keep the establishment wing at bay during his eight years. It’s a continuum.
