I keep hearing the breathless talk of winning a war, etc. Yet, i see the same government telling us about how terror is everywhere, going out of its way to assist the enemy.
Our government is filled with the moslem brotherhood and wahabbists.
You cannot tell me that America is in a dirty war, and that we need to put the Constitution and our values on the shelf for a while, while we simultaneously give the enemy billions and fly top cover for Al Qeida in Libya and Syria. We are importing the enemy by the boatload. Skinnies from Somalia fill Michigan and Minnesota. Iraqis, Egyptians, Pakis, and Afgans are being imported wholesale. And now Syrians. ANd our border is wide open. And im supposed to panic that we are in a “street fight”? Please,,,

I wont surrender Americas traditional values of the government thinks the threat is so small that it behaves as it does.

Instead of tit for tat, and making our men into firing squads, id rather see a day of honesty. We notify Saudi Arabia that the game is over. The next attack traced to a wahabbist element, including any wahabbist mosque in America, will result in the seizure of their oil fields. It would be child’s play for us.
Then give them 24 hrs to evacuate mecca at which time 7 or 8 hydrogen bombs will hit it.

And then we just go back to being normal “America” the classic version, without the universal domestic surveillance, without the brushfire wars without end, without using torture of any type. Let them chase down all their own loose ends.

I certainly don’t mind that idea all to much, though it does seem a bit disproportionate. The Saudis, while to a degree culpable, are not directly responsible, and the idea that things would go back to normal after that is a complete pipe dream. Once you make Mecca in a slag heap, you better be ready for a total war until Islam is no more.

I do see a case where Mecca should be a slag heap, that is the moment some Muzzie nukes a U.S. city. At that point there needs to be a new crusade and not one with limited objectives. There needs to be a complete eradication of that moon god murder cult. Right now there is no way to get enough support for it. If a U.S. city ends up a radioactive crater, the support will be there.

Well said but....the anti ‘torture’ folks think getting ones eyes gouged out with a red hot knife or being slowly skinned alive or being burned for hours on end with a blow torch is the same thing as water boarding or getting the sleep dep. thing. Brilliant aren’t they?

Yes, they’re so darn smart that they’re dangerously stupid.

There was less outrage over Saddam’s woodchipper program.

Damn, I had forgot about the woodchipper thing. Another one of saddam’s favorite REAL TORTURE deals was to have a victim tied by his wrists with a steel chain and suspended over a very large vat of acid. muzzie crowd of saddams pals cheers. saddam signals, Lower away boys and the poor victim was slowly lowered down into the acid. Stop, start, stop, start until sufficient screaming and agony was heard. Lower some more to waist deep. Stop. Continue lowering up to the neck. Stop. Muzzie crowd cheers. Than a complete dunk. muzzie crowd cheers. Pull him out, dispose of what was left and get another victim ready. THAT is REAL torture. (But it is NOTHING next to the HORROR of water boarding according to the slack wrists.........sarc off).

Yikes. I never heard about that, but I believe it. There’s torture, and then there’s real torture.

Thank you for an intelligent analysis. I have misgivings about giving our government the power to create a new class of prisoners (enemy combatants) who are not entitled to the protections afforded those arrested for a crime and to prisoners of war. It isn’t because I have some love or sympathy for Muslims. Their so-called religion is evil. However, what is to stop our government from deciding that Tea Party supporters and conservative Christians are “enemies of the state” and locking them up indefinitely and doing whatever it wants.

I always think of these lines from the movie, A Man for All Seasons:

William Roper: So, now you give the Devil the benefit of law!

Sir Thomas More: Yes! What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil?

William Roper: Yes, I’d cut down every law in England to do that!

Sir Thomas More: Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned ‘round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast, Man’s laws, not God’s! And if you cut them down, and you’re just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I’d give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety’s sake!

The Damage is done. One of your problems might be, that the conclusion in Europe is, that America simply is a rouge nation. Not better than Russia today or in the past. To be a friend of the US is simply unsexy on our side of the big pond in the meantime. Therefore it will be much easier here to find new alliances for the gouvernments after Merkel, who will stay a staunch ally of the US during her residual therm. Nevertheless - the decay of American influence here in Europe is breathtaking since for the European society you Americans are not the good ones anymore.

I predict the end of NATO and the end of millitary US presence in Europe within the next 10 years.

Regards from Europe

Andreas
