GOP secures environmental policy riders on grouse, Clean Water Act in spending bill
The Washington Times ^ | December 10, 2014 | David Sherfinski

Included in the massive, $1.1 trillion bill unveiled late Tuesday that would fund most of the government through next fall are several policy “riders” on energy and the environment supported by Republicans, adding fuel to what is already shaping up to be a fight between the GOP and the Obama administration over environmental policies next year.

Republicans said the spending bill stops the listing of the sage-grouse as an endangered species — a move by the administration after the midterm elections that Democrats and the GOP alike had criticized. The federal move to protect the bird was seen as having a chilling effect on the economy in the west, notably on oil and gas exploration and ranching on designated habitat in Utah and Colorado.

They are happy enough. They will trade some grouse for millions of illegal aliens.

Another good thing, the IRS got another $300+ million haircut in this budget (after getting a $600 million one last year). And this was even after Obama’s hack IRS director demanded that congress increase the agencies funding by $1.5 Billion to implement the Obamacare taxes....

That is good news. A shame Congress doesn’t defund that smirking wimp of an IRS directors position.

Wow! This is great news!

Obama, the EPA, and all the other Environazi groups have been trying to "weaponize" the sage-grouse for their collectist agenda.

This stops them dead in their tracks. At least for now.

Late on Thanksgiving eve, with no one paying attention, the regime released its regulatory road map of thousands of new regulations for 2015.

Within the bundle of more than 3,000 regulations lies a rule on ozone that he in 2011 “put on ice” in effort to reduce “regulatory burdens and regulatory uncertainty, particularly as our economy continues to recover.” [ Getting ready for the next election cycle ] . Regarding the 2011 decision that shocked [ Communist ] environmental groups, the New York Times recently stated he “ said the regulation would impose too severe a burden on industry and local governments at a time of economic distress.”

So why is the rule back?

Sounds like more of the juvenile 0bama's in-your-face win at any cost. As long as he gets his way he cares not about any backlash because he won't be in another election.

The GOP and Dems could do a real service for our country in January when they come back by impeaching the turkey before he does any more damage to the country.

That Breitbart-linked article makes my blood boil. The Kenya-born Muslim fascist is truly hellbent on destroying this country in every conceivable way.

This story needs a thread in its own right.

Thanks for the pings, guys!
