The chokehold death of Eric Garner in NYPD custody wasn’t “a black-and-white thing,” his widow said Sunday — a stunning admission that breaks sharply from lawmakers and protesters who have seized on the racial aspect of the case.
Esaw Snipes said she believed her husband was “murdered unjustly,” but said skin color wasn’t a factor behind his fatal arrest for allegedly selling loose cigarettes on Staten Island last summer.
The statement flies in the face of demands by Snipes and others — including the Rev. Al Sharpton — for the civil-rights investigation announced by US Attorney General Eric Holder last week.
“I don’t even feel like it’s a black-and-white thing, honestly, you know, in my opinion,” Snipes told NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Al was "ordained" by a DC preacher at age 10 and has perpetuated the lie ever since. Both men consistently come down on the wrong side of the truth, from Tawna Brawley, to the Duke Five, to Ferguson, to this latest incident. Yet, when proven wrong, these two phonies melt into the dirt only to re-emerge the next time they can stir the racial pot. After all, they would be homeless without racial strife. They don't try to solve the problem, they seek to augment it.

However, the NYPD should not be arresting people for selling cigarettes. Don’t they have any real police work to do?
Well, perhaps the Revs Al and Jesse just got the proportion of pretence and truth a bit wrong. But in this they are no different from the scores (make that thousands) of the Bible-Beatin' Bunko Artists in any of the thousands of the churches lining the Martin Luther King Boulevard near you. They also mix in a little prosperity gospel (at your and my expense), a little Fidelismo, a little Santería, Really BIG Ladies in really big hats, Raucous "Hymns," and a wholotta foolin' around after church, resulting in 80%+ illegitimacy rates in the 'hood and millions of abortions.
As far as being ordained, why, yessuh, Al and Jesse they be ordained OK. The Revs Al and Jesse are simply not the Church of England Vicars one might hope for in one's village in the Cotswolds, but then how many of those fellows could effectively organize and lead a mob of looters? They have St. Swithin. The Revs Al and Jesse have St. Trayvon and Holy Michael.

Tax revenue enforcement is REAL police work.
Eric Garner is not dead because he was a black man. He is dead because he was suspected of daring to sell a legal product without charging his customers an outrageously high cigarette sales tax the State demands. He died because in the eyes of the State, he questioned their authority to enforce tyrannical laws. The darkly ironic thing is, liberals are protesting the death of Eric Garner, but liberals are the reason Eric Garner is dead. Liberals are the ones who called for sales taxes of several dollars per pack on cigarettes. In fact, it was the Obama Administration that raised the federal sales tax from .39 cents per pack to $1.01 per pack. In New York City, where Mr. Garner was slain for not obeying the State, the total sales tax is $5.85 per pack. It wasn’t about “black”, it was about the green: Money the State wanted.
Leave that crap to the Department of Revenue. Go fight violent crime.
It has the same roots as the showdown at the Bundy ranch, where the over-reaction was from the feds. Police aren’t protecting people; they’re protecting unjust revenue.
This was overzealous enforcement of tax evasion pure and simple. According to Libtards, tax evasion, profiling and hurt feelings are the only type of crimes which really matter.

Al has not explained the financial aspects of this to her yet.
So, all the conservatives out there now think the laws shouldn’t be enforced, just because they are tax laws? How about a little bit of consistency.
