United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon called on U.S. authorities Thursday to respond to demands for “greater accountability” from law enforcement in the wake of a grand jury decision not to indict a white New York Police Department officer over the death of Eric Garner.

“We’re obviously aware of what's going on here in our own backyard,” Ban’s spokesman, Stephane Dujarric, told reporters in New York, adding that Ban’s “thoughts are obviously with the family of Mr. Garner following that decision, and the people of New York.”

Well that should take care of it. Spanky da moon called for us to behave "...“We’re obviously aware of what's going on here in our own backyard,” his spokesmodel said. Uh, last time I checked, the u.n. didn't have a back yard. Besides, I think they'd look a lot better off hq'd in Zimbabwe. Then they could have a back yard.

Eric Garner was a member of organized crime with a history of 30+ arrests who was shaking down merchants in NY.

Why is he considered some sort of hero?

The UN is powerless. Always has been. Hopefully, always will be.

They should send UN troops into NYC to deal with those killer cops.

(Sarc tag or no sarc tag - can’t decide)

Given the track record of Blue Helmets in various troublespots, I’d give it about a week before NYC residents openly rioted in support of bringing back the NYPD.

[[Well that should take care of it. Spanky da moon called for us to behave]]

And by ‘behave’ he of course means that whenever a black man or woman is shot by a white police officer, for ANY reason, the officer is to be arrested and thrown into prison immediately without benefit of a trial, because juries might hear all the evidence presented them and find the defendant not guilty- The UN and black community evidently don’t give a rip about actual justice, they are obviously more concerned with how things ‘look’ especially when the main stream media paints an ugly picture where none is warranted

A few months ago when the UN got all hot and bothered about water problems in Detroit, I thougt they should have sent UN troops there.

After all, the UN does have experience in third world hell-hole conditions, so they would have been right at home in Detroit.

This is sooo easy.

Since the US is such a lawless place and the "people of color" who work at the UN will be in such grave danger from the police, INVITE THEM TO LEAVE NYC.

And, since the US is such a racist country, maybe they should withdraw financial support from the UN.

well now let’s see.
there was one controversial death in USA where a policeman may have done wrong and a grand jury maybe made a mistake

looked that way to me

but...
the United Nazis are responsible for supporting mass-murdering terrorists all around the world — even using UN “schools” to train future generations of terrorist murderers... and using UN “hospitals” to store and hide weapons (missiles, bombs, etc.) as we just saw in Gaza

If we could get some “accountability” at the UnitedNazis, there sure would be a lot of good public hangings to entertain the hoipolloi on the steets of the Big Apple
