The City of Gary, IN did just that, for DECADES after the 60's destruction. The amazing irony is that the decision was made by the black thugs who ran the city. They wanted the burned-out buildings to be a public monument to their "Black Power"; the power to destroy.

I've been thinking that as well. But, it's also possible that as long as the race-baiter-in-chief is the president, he'll enact some form of executive action requiring tax payers to rebuild Ferguson. We owe it them, you know, as reparations.
