What is not shocking however is El-Presidente’s complete disregard for the Constitution and the rule of law. I don't know what's more repulsive: an utterly lawless, racist American president trampking the Constitution or a Congress which surrendered to him its power and authority and allowed him to become a dictator.

I would have to say the later. My view MIGHT have been different if it was just the Dims who did so. However many Republicans were complicit in this. Funny, they wonder why people say there is no difference between the parties. There is; but we have way too many sell outs in ours.

I must agree. Throughout history, it’s been the normal human condition that power creates despotism, and why our FF did everything they could to prevent that. It’s worse when so many elected ‘representatives’ of they people have helped toward that very process (on both sides of the aisle).
