Maybe, but cats kill - at a minimum - 660% more.
From USA Today: Cats that live in the wild or indoor pets allowed to roam outdoors kill from 1.4 billion to as many as 3.7 billion birds in the continental U.S. each year, says a new study that escalates a decades-old debate over the feline threat to native animals. (Jan 30, 2013)
As with most types of pornography it is necessary to become more explicit with time or your audience is lost.
Exactly.
There's a few feral cats that I feed in my back yard. Very friendly, I pick them up and pet them, grew from kittens. Anyway, they leave a lot of evidence of their kills. Squirrel tails, bird feathers, etc. Nothing remains of mice, but they bring them and show me before running off to eat them. I believe you, that cats kill many more birds than so-called "global warming". I can see the evidence of cats killing birds.
Agreed.
“so you may not notice birds disappearing from the skies”
We have. They are piling up under the wind turbines.
Are We Missing the Big Picture PAYOFF on Climate Change?
The author starts with a sob story about birdies dying because of the Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System.
I admit I did not read this thing with a lot of focus but Solar energy is what we are using to replace fossil fuels ...I would think that if the conclusion is Solar Energy is bad for birdies , maybe it is not the answer to energy problems as so many environmentalists hope
